Ancient China well exceeded my expectations and Evan was an exceptional tour guide! Beware that almost everything is paid for using an app, which does not always work or allows you to pay large amounts, and also requires cell service. Make sure you have some cash with you at all times and a card you can use at an ATM. People speak little to no English, but are very friendly. Don't expect politeness or manners you are used to in the US. Every city or public place we visited was extremely clean and Chengdu was a surprisingly lovely city! You will need your passport everywhere you go or enter (parks, sights, museums, trains, etc.). Overall, a wonderful tour, but I wish there was more time spent at the Great Wall.
