This Greece Islands sailing adventure was so memorable! It exceeded all of our expectations, every day sailing to explore a different island and experience local culture and food as well as gain knowledge about the history and culture of the region. Our skipper CEO Mack was highly knowledgeable about the region and very passionate about sailing as well as sharing his knowledge and providing opportunities for each of us to learn and experience it for ourselves. Our only recommendation is for G Adventures to include more information about the need to pay in cash at restaurants and establishments in the Greek islands (Euros). We thought we would be using our credit card for dinners but learned we really needed to have cash instead.

The trip was well run and our guide was excellent. The walks were more challenging than we thought they would be. The itinerary suggests that some are leisurely hikes - not so! It also suggests that on one of the days we walk on a pebbled path- not so! We actually climbed over huge rocks on a steep ledge with a sheer drop to the right. It was more challenging than the itinerary suggests. However the trip was brilliant as we had total faith in our guide. Perhaps you could give clearer explanations .

We were picked up from Heriklion and taken to our hotel. Hotel was good, my only comment is that we would have preferred to pay a little extra and gone all inclusive as we could only have food in the evening meal which also included water that we had to pay for. Trip to knossos was very informative and ticket was also valid for the museum in Heraklion, which we visited in the afternoon. The safari trip was fantastic. Jason our guide was funny and knowledgable. We learnt a lot about the villages in the mountains, saw the sunken village, visited a goat herder and watched cheese being made then tried them with raki. Amazing Day especially travelling on the roads up the mountains. Very good value for money.

She was lovely and made the trip very special for wife’s birthday mid tour. The Acropolis site, Meteora and Delphi were incredible sights and experiences. This was a great trip and has made me want to explore Greece further. We didn?t have much wind which had a lot of upsides actually, the group we went with were amazing and our captain Erwin was helpful, practical and entertaining. I would recommend bringing a driving licences so more exploration of the islands could be done. I?m not sure it would be a comfortable trip if you had to share a tiny cabin with a stranger, or didn?t like swimming, but my partner and I had an awesome time. Thanks all!
