Both the temples were discovered in 1813 and were almost completely covered with sand. The whole trip was great. Our guide in Egypt was the best I have ever had. Henry was very knowledgeable and funny, and always on top of everything. My favorite things - Riding a camel at the pyramids, racing across the desert in the back of pickups at Wadi Rum in Jordan, Staying in a Nubian Village in Egypt, and the resort at the Dead Sea. Loved floating in the Dead Sea and being covered in mud. I skipped the last day tour and stayed at the resort for an all-day spa day. Well worth it!
