This tour was as advertised in terms of level of activity. It incorporated a variety of experiences & included interactions with local culture & give back to the local community through Planeterra. Participants came from different parts of the world & their ages covered a wide range, which offered the opportunity for cultural & personal exchanges throughout the trip. The sights & experiences offered were fascinating &, at times unique, despite & sometimes because of the heavy rain. The tour guide provided enough information about the places & people we encountered without being too talkative & he answered questions freely.

This was my first Geluxe trip, having done four 18-30something trips previously. This again had an excellent, knowledgable and friendly CEO who embodied G Adventures ethos and wanted to ensure everyone had a great trip. The itinerary has a great balance between activities and rest and pace that means a lot is packed in to 12 days, without feeling excessively rushed. There was a balance of occasional free time without sacrificing getting as much out of our day as possible!
