I like free and easy trips. But for some local detailed arrangements related to itinerary/activities in various countries, it can be rather challenging. My trip to Yangtze River cruise and travel between Chongqing and Yichang involved details that I am not familiar. Olivia helped me to do the booking, train ticketing, route planning etc. The trip was smooth going without any hiccups. I went on a 5d/4n Yangtze River cruise from Yichang to Chongqing. The cruise ship was relatively new and the cabin was clean and comfortable. There was enough food selection to cater for everyone’s tastes. The crew members were very helpful and polite, one (Cindy) even helped me get the food for every meal. There were also enough activities on board like movies, spa etc if one opted out of land excursions. The land excursions were very enjoyable. Despite my temporary restricted mobility, I was assisted in getting on and off the ship and when the wheelchair was required, the staff members offered to help in pushing it. Thalia from AOT had been exceptionally helpful, advising me on which land excursion was not suitable for me and even sent a requested foldable stool to the hotel for my use in the shower on our extended 2-day stay in Chongqing post cruise. Overall, this cruise had been a very good and pleasant experience for me.

This 10 Days River Rafting Tour starts and ends in Kathmandu. For a detailed itinerary we kindly refer to the Itinerary tab. All rafting will take place in SunKoshi (the river of gold), one of Nepal's best rivers for river rafting. Day 1 and Day 10 will be spent on transport to/from Kathmandu, and the other 8 days will be spent river rafting, enjoying nature, playing games, camping at night - or in short, having a blast!
Running the gigantic waves and the intense yet predictable rapids of the crystal clear Sunkoshi river gives you more than just an adrenaline rush; it makes you feel something which can’t be simply expressed with words, and hence, you gotta try it!
The starting point of the 270 kilometers long river adventure is Dolalghat or Roshi Khola (Nepalthok), which is a 3-hour drive from Kathmandu valley, and the take out point, or end point at Day 10, is Chatara, which is a 16-hour drive from Kathmandu.
From straightforward waves to powerful and intense ones, the rapid of the river changes from class 3 to class 4 as you move further down the river. We will therefore start with easy rapids and slowly get you on top of how to handle bigger rapids.
The best seasons to gain a thrilling and a safe experience of rafting in Sunkoshi is from September to November and May to June. However, please note that Sunkoshi doesn’t just give you a thrilling rafting experience but also gives you a chance to witness Nepal's fascinating nature close up. Great service, amazing experience and great adventure in the mountains!! Gokyo Cho La Pass trek with this tour agency is highly recommended. The agency is an expert in Manaslu region, Karma made all the preparations very smooth. I am a solo traveler and he helped me to find a group. All the communication was very smooth and I always got quick answers. Despite the tight schedule, the agency managed to get all the permits, and we left for the trek the day after arriving in Kathmandu. We have joined a group tour organized by this local travel specialist for Dagala Thousand Lakes trip in 2019.
It was one of the most scenic treks that I have ever been to. All along the way you will be greeted by towering Himalayas like Mountain Jumolhari, Kanchenjunga, Tsheringma and on occasion you may see Mount Everest as well.
I took this trek on end of May when the wild flower was in bloom.
The trek also gives you a glimpse of many glacial lakes.
We had a wonderful trekking experience with the agency. Thank you.
Note: Please bring warm clothes as it can get chilly on such elevation even during May month.

The communication in advance, pick me up at the airport and EVERYTHING in between until the drop me back at the airport for the return trip: everything was arranged!
By banal throat infection after the peak ascent yet with heli to hospital ... where people from the local tour operator were there to assist me, Dipak came to visit me personally and check if everything went well ... 3 days later I was in Pokhara enjoy (with antibiotics)! Good insurance is extremely important! Hint: European assistance 'world sport'.
