To sum up my experience in one paragraph is an injustice to the beauty and bonds shared on this trip, with the CEO and now good friends I've come to meet. Even to share this trip with my partner by my side has enriched our relationship beyond what we previously had. I get teary-eyed when I think of the time spent hiking through the jungle, sharing wonderful meals at the market, playing cards games on the train, visiting the temples, feeding the elephants, listening to our CEO tell us about the city and people. It all is so majestically overwhelming in the best way possible. This trip was the best one of my life so far!

This was a most fabulous trip - a fantastic mix of cycling and sampling local culture. We had a really good guide Shibu and his team. We loved Kerala and the mix of experiences on this trip. We liked the level which was leisurely /moderate - ideal in such a hot country we wish there were more trips available at this level. We loved the food and have had withdrawal cravings on return to the UK from such delicious fare! We had a great group of people on this tour they also helped to make it a brilliant experience.

Very hard, very demanding, very cold, VERY REWARDING. The first view of a snow leopard, like my first encounter with a tiger, was highly emotional and, unashamedly, induced tears !

This tour was such a great way to explore both Vietnam and Cambodia without stressing over planning everything ourselves. It started in Saigon... super lively and full of energy. The Cu Chi Tunnels were very intriguing.. it’s wild to imagine how people lived down there. One of my favorite parts was the boat ride on the Mekong River.. saw floating marktes.
Hoi An was hands down the most charming place on the trip with lanterns everywhere, cute cafes and lovely shopping.. I bought silk scarves and handmade lanterns.
Hanoi had a completely different vibe, like more historic and chilled. We spent a day just walking around the lakes and old town. Ha Long Bay was unforgettable.. saw limestone cliffs, wow!
The Cambodia part was shorter but still amazing. Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom were mind-blowing..
Overall this tour was well and everything from the hotels to the food and transport was taken care of. It’s a lot to fit in but if you’re looking for an adventure across two beautiful countries.

I haven't quite absorbed all of what I have experienced on this trip. The animals, birds, insects and vegetation we saw is almost overwhelming. This is a fantastic cycling trip around Bali and Java - two beautiful islands in Indonesia. The Exodus team of guides/driver were brilliant and ensured that everything ran very smoothly. They often went above and beyond. The cycling is great - each ride different but equally stunning. Be prepared for a lot of uphill climbing, but this also means a lot of very fun down hill rides! Some of which are very steep. Because of how many climbs there are on this trip (especially day 2 and day 7 that are very difficult), I would argue this trip should be graded as Moderate/Challenging. There are also a few off-road rides (mostly on the last day). There is an optional ride in the afternoon of day 2 around Batur volcano; our expectations of the challenging terrain on this ride were not quite set accurately enough. Although beautiful, it is incredibly challenging and was harder than expected. It should be made clear that this is definitely optional and should only really be done if you are an advanced cyclist. Cycling 9 days in a row without a rest break is quite tiring, but each day brings a new highlight. The itinerary, overall, is very good. Trekking up to the top of Ijen volcano is amazing, as is snorkelling in northern Bali. Every accommodation is amazing in its own way - camping on the beach was absolutely incredible! An experience I won't forget. This was one of my favourite cycling trips and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

This was my second completely independent trip to China with this tour operator. I worked with Kyle Lee to organize the itineraries and book hotels, guides, internal trains, and more. This year, I chose to visit Chengdu and Chongqing, as well as some areas of interest near these two cities. I was originally supposed to travel with my daughter, but at the last moment, due to a knee issue, she decided not to come (especially since the trip included some hiking and physical effort). So, I embarked on this journey alone.
What can I say? Impeccable organization. Kyle is extremely helpful and exceptional at tailoring itineraries and travel experiences. He is attentive and present, with an incredible ability to craft trips that let you see exactly what you wanted – and even more. The guides were extraordinary. Diana, incredibly friendly and super communicative, managed to show me the most important parts of an immense city like Chongqing in just one day, while still giving me the space to explore certain places on my own when I needed it.
Andy, who assisted me with logistical transfers in Chengdu, accompanied me with charm, elegance, empathy, and a great sense of humor. Even though he was with me for a short time, he left a lasting impression. However, the highest praise goes to Rosa, my main guide in Chengdu, Leshan, and Mount Emei. Calling her a guide feels reductive – she was a friend, a travel companion, and like family. Tireless, incredibly knowledgeable, and always available. Seeing that I was traveling alone, she joined me for dinners and accompanied me well beyond her working hours. We went shopping together, talked with locals (thanks to her interpretation skills), and shared so much culturally, relationally, and personally. She welcomed me into her world, and I welcomed her into mine. I don’t think I’ve ever traveled with a guide so prepared, kind, and open, who introduced me not only to her country but also to such meaningful human connections.
If I could give 10 stars to this company, to Kyle, and to the amazing people I met, I absolutely would. Since I can only give 5 stars, I’ll do that instead – but I’m already thinking about traveling with them again next year!
