The rolling steppe of Central Asia makes way to stark desert; across this vast landscape, nomadic ger camps are peppered, camels and goats are herded on horseback, fermented mare’s milk is the tipple of choice, dunes sing and the first intact dinosaur eggs were found. Genghis Khan went forth from here to conquer the biggest land empire in history and, to this day, Buddhist and Animist traditions mix. In July, all over the country, people unite to compete in wrestling, archery, horse racing and ankle-bone flicking during the Naadam Festival but traditions can be witnessed throughout the year. We travel through steppe, mountain and the Gobi Desert exploring the nature and culture of this fascinating, yet little known, country.

Besides the incredible views and interesting history we learned along the way, our time spent with Gita and Dewa were what made it so special.
They went out of their way to ensure that we had a truly amazing experience!
The Xian mini group tour was amazing! My guide was Phoebe and she knows everything about Terracotta Warriors History and speaks a very good English! Also guided us to the best places to avoid the crowds. I strongly recommend the tour and the guide!

I would recommend this mini group tour in Beijing.
Our guide Linda was great very friendly, great English and easy to communicate with. We had a lot of fun with her and enjoyed the day immensely. Linda made our day special to remember. A tour is the only way to see attractions and we cant believe how much we saw in a day!
Thanks Linda we hope to see you again next time you made our day very enjoyable.

I have used this operator for a small group trip from Lhasa, Tibet to Kathmandu (including Everest base camp), an independent tour of the Kathmandu area, a Southern Nepal safari, a driver to take us to friends near the 2015 earthquake epicenter (one month after the earthqake), and a tour of Bhutan. All of the trips were delightful whether I was with a group of 20 or 2.
Fantastic trip, full day. Tour guide Manin was outstanding. A wealth of information, explaining everything along the way. He was also very helpful and considerate. Highly recommend.
