Lovely guide who ensured a speedy but safe hike up to see the sunrise. Included breakfast and she was very nice throughout the hike, and ensured that we could take breaks (since we do desk jobs and are not as fit as she is!). Driver who took us there also was very pleasant, took us to the mountain as well as the hot springs and spa, and lunch which were a wonderful add on after the rigorous hike. Highly recommend!
A well-designed trek with carefully planned stages and acclimatization days. The guide was professional, experienced, attentive, encouraging, and reassuring. It was an exceptional experience with a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The pace was well-adapted—we traveled as a family, with parents aged 69 and a son aged 34.
This stunning trek goes along the Batura Glaciers. Patundas is a summer pasture with an altitude of above 4000 meters. The villagers of Ghulkin take there cattle to this green pasture from June to August The fascinating view of Passu Peak 7284m, Batura Peak 7500m, Shishper 7619m, Dasteghil Sar 7885, Momhil Sar 7342 and Rakaposhi with the height of 7788m all around you. The trek starts at Borit Lake and goes through Passugar, Luzhdar and Patundas and along the glaciers. My husband and I just finished the Everest Panorama Trek and we could not be more happy with our experience and our choice in company. We did the 4-day Kathmandu valley trek and it was one of the most indelible and life-changing experiences. The trek encompasses so much more than just the view itself (which is ethereal!) -- you get to meet and interact with locals that would welcome you to take a basum (a break) on their porch, taste authentic Nepali cuisines, and maybe even pick up a few Nepali phrases. "This tour company organized my 10-day trip in India, which included visits through Delhi, Agra with the Taj Mahal, Ranthambore for a safari, Jaipur, and Varanasi. Overall, this felt like a perfect introduction to India, with each city offering completely different experiences in a concise manner. In addition, the tour operator offered additional options in each city that further tailored the experience based on individual preferences. Just a great, organized set-up where it felt that you were able to enjoy the cultural experience - while at the same time having the appropriate amount of time to refresh/reset for a holiday. The value/cost of the tour - from service, experience, hotels, etc - was great.
The entire tour was very well set-up from start to finish, and could not have been more happy with the entire experience. In every instance, there are experienced individuals to assist you in every aspect of the visit to avoid any confusion or lost time - from pick-up at the airport to private drivers to reputable tour guides. The private driver throughout the tour was a great, kind individual and felt very safe throughout the trip. Further, the tour guides selected by the tour operator were great. You could tell that this company had developed a very good niche in the market over time with hiring/selecting these individuals, given their vast experience and knowledge; in addition to their desire to answer all questions and hold good dialogue and conversation throughout the tour (everyone spoke very good English for Westerners).
Finally, the main contact points organizing and managing the trip were exceptional.
