A wonderful trip through a lesser travelled area of Indonesia. Our awesome CEO Mangun showed us the best of Indonesian culture and its people who were among the kindest, and most sincere I?ve ever met. The tour is quite travel heavy at the start but comes into its own in the final 2/3. The trip to Mt Bromo was my highlight!

The guide was really knowledgeable and was able to tell us about the history of all the places we visited. The itinerary was good and we were able to see many sights and places that we would not normally see if we had booked on our own. Would I recommend this particular adventure to a friend, in a word no. However I would caveat this with I had a great time and I would definitely recommend G adventures as a tour group and these three countries are definitely worth visiting. It's only a couple of small points that need 'ironing out' which is understandable considering the relatively new itinerary that has been created. Our CEO minty ensured a smooth tour and I suspect that another tour guide would have handled the issues not as effectively. Thank you, G Adventures, for a wonderful once in a lifetime experience.

Halong Bay is incredibly beautiful, Pu Luong has such fascinating natural scenery and culture, and Hanoi with its vibrant atmosphere and people is something I truly loved.
