We had an amazing time on this G Adventures tour. Each element of the trip was very well organized and included a great amount of activities without feeling overwhelming or rushed. This is just one of those trips... if you are considering going then PLEASE do. As a single woman travelling to Africa alone, there were plenty of people that were worried about me coming on this trip. By the time it ended, I was uncontrollably crying that it was over.. I just wanted to start the 11 days all over again. The tour felt very luxurious, all of the food and accomodation was incredible and our guides - for Kenya, and for Tanzania - were the stars of the show. They were so fun, planned everything to the last detail and sat with us for every meal so they just felt like one of the group.
We saw everything we wanted to see and then some - including some very rare sightings from the leopard to the serval cat and porcupine. Our tour guides were true professionals and even put a lot of effort into making sure every animal was shown in the right lighting from a good angle to get the best photo.
I can't recommend this trip highly enough and I hope you have as incredible a time as I did!

The Tanzania Safari is incredible - we saw such a huge variety of animals so close up, all thanks to the expertise of our guide who went above and beyond to ensure we had the most amazing experience. Particular highlight was also the accommodation in the Serengeti - glamping right in the middle of a national park!

On safari, my mind was blown because I never expected to see so many animals up close in their environment. It was also mind blowing to see the countries and people and gain an understanding in how they live. I saw a t-shirt that said “Africa is not for sissies” and I agree.

I have travelled all over the world and this was of the best if not the best tours. The tour manager was knowledgeable, passionate and concerned about his clients and staff. Seeing all the animals in their natural habitat was amazing including the big five.

The Kilimanjaro climb was so amazing, truly life changing. Not just for the journey and reaching the summit, but because we spent 8 days getting to know the wonderful Tanzanian CEOS and crew and seeing their positivity, enthusiasm and perseverence despite the challenges of their job has truly humbled us and their energy is contagious. Their service and care was so impressive.
