Overall, this was one of the best trips ever. One suggestion I have, in the past the tour stared off with a tipping kitty that the CEO would collect at the beginning of the tour. Please bring the back. It is very confusing when the people on the tour must figure out how much to tip the drivers and other axillary staff. Please bring it back!!!!!!
Discover the beautiful west side of Crete, full of history and great scenery! Visit the three of Crete’s cities Chania, Rethymnon, and Heraklion with its fascinating mix of Byzantine and Venetian influences with the picturesque harbour fronts. Visit Crete’s most famous Palace of Knossos, the seat of the legendary King Minos, enjoy the unique atmosphere of the monastery Ag. Triada, the traditional pottery-making in the village of Margarites and the workshop of Mr. Chatziparaschos , one of the only pastry makers in Greece!
To Greeks, Crete is the Megalonissi (Great Island), a hub of spectacular ancient art and architecture. Fabled as the land of King Minos, it is a unique world where civilization is counted by the millennium. From every point of view, travellers discover landscapes of amazing variety. Mountains split with deep gorges and honeycombed with caves, rise in sheer walls from the sea. Snow-capped peaks loom behind sandy shorelines, vineyards, and olive groves. Miles of beaches, some with a wealth of amenities and others isolated and unspoiled, fringe the coast.
More time is needed in Acropolis Delphi and Dion,
the museum of the Acropolis was not on the itinerary which is a shame
especially that there was not free time to see it by ourself
