A fantastic cycling trip to the Lake District of Chile and Argentina. An expertly organized adventure, with fantastic bike rides and breathtaking scenery. A 'must do' trip - between my wife and I, we have done over 12 Exodus cycling holidays and this one rates as the best. A well thought out route, professionally managed and a never to be forgotten experience. A special thanks go to the local operator of BikeWay and Marcello, with guides Taiel and Jero, who all made this tip so memorable

The trip is incredible. The scenery varies every day and you'll ride on all possible terrains: sand, rock, gravel, tarmac and every day offers a lot of fun. The landscape of the Moon Valley in Chile is surreal and the Tatio geyser excursion is a stunning experience. Chile and Argentina are lovely countries; the areas visited still haven't been reached by mass tourism and you barely see any other tourists while travelling.
The Inca Jungle trek to Machu Picchu is by far the most adventurous trekking option in the Cusco region. It is also the most varied in terms of activities.
The Inca Jungle Trail adventure includes sections of biking and on foot, crossing mountains, valleys, rivers, indigenous towns, cocoa and coffee plantations, and a huge variety of fruit trees on this 4-day route. You will also soak in healthy and relaxing hot springs before finishing this amazing adventure in Machu Picchu.
The Inca Jungle Trail is a very good alternative for the classic Inca Trail, which is usually very busy or sold out months in advance.
This "Three-Day Inca Jungle Trail to Machu Picchu" trek is an excellent option for those intrigued by the Inca jungle, looking for adventure and adrenaline, and extreme sports lovers. This route combines mountain biking, trekking, and zip-line.
All these activities are performed with the view of the most majestic and wild scenery of the Andes. Everything from tropical jungles to high alpine snow-capped peaks, and full of local flora and fauna through the many ecosystems that you will traverse will take your breath away. And not to mention all the local products straight from the fields such as coffee, fruits of all kinds, and coca leaves that you will visit and learn about.
This tour is sure to fill you with joy and satisfaction from the moment you start to your very last step.
Book this one-day bicycle tour with us to see Inca highlights around Cusco. Your day starts with a pickup from your hotel at 8:00 am and transfer to the community of Cruz Pata. From this point you will start your bicycle journey as you pass by Huaypo Lagoon to reach the archaeological site of Moray.
See terraced circular depressions that Moray is known for during your guided tour. These terraces are said to have been used for agricultural purpose. A quick descent will then take you to the town of Maras. Have your box lunch and continue to Salineras de Maras, a wonderful place with more than 3000 salt pits. These pits are said to have been in use since pre-Incan days to harvest salt. Travel back to Cusco after your second guided tour of the day, arriving in the city at around 6:00 pm. Your drop-off point is the city centre (Cusco's main square).
You will cover around 35 km in six to seven hours on a bicycle during this trip and see impressive views of glaciers, valleys and high Andean landscapes all along. This trip is ideal not only for adventure lovers but also for those interested in photography.
Although this is a group tour, you can also book it in a private format if you want to. If you are interested in the private version, we will drop you off at your hotel in Cusco. Please click on the "Make An Enquiry" button on the top right of this page for more information.
