This was a really packed holiday with plenty opportunities to see wildlife, learn about the history and current events in the areas visited. Although long distances were travelled some days there were breaks to see local markets, glass factory and local crafts. The scenery was spectacular with time for walking, exploring and swimming in the Ocean There was the chance to opt in to additional excursions or to just chill
The guides were all excellent- very good at spotting the wildlife and with a wide breadth of knowledge Our tour leader was especially good at keeping us organised and informed in a relaxed and fun manner
Accommodation was an interesting mixture of eco villages but all with comfortable beds and en suite facilities

Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater form the backbone of this 5-day camping adventure—perfect for wildlife enthusiasts craving the raw, untamed beauty of Tanzania. Ernest Hemingway once called Lake Manyara the ‘loveliest’ he’d seen in Africa, and you’ll quickly see why as you witness thousands of flamingos and herds of wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo.
Next, experience the world-famous Serengeti, where the Great Migration unfolds in a spectacle of survival and drama. Watch as game animals traverse crocodile-filled rivers and predators stalk their prey in real time. The journey concludes in the Ngorongoro Crater, a unique ecosystem where rare species like the black rhino thrive, and the chance to spot the Big Five in a single day is high.
The USP of this tour package lies in its access to some of the most concentrated wildlife viewing opportunities on the planet, all while camping under the stars for an authentic safari experience. Ideal for those who seek both adventure and nature’s grandeur.

I really enjoyed this tour, it gives a very good overview of the country, culture, National Parks, everyday life, etc. We used a minibus all the way through and it worked very well. The local tour leader was outstanding.

This tour was amazing. Lots to see and do. But what really made this trip exceptional was the staff. The tour guide, Abder, was amazing. He constantly went above and beyond to meet our needs and make sure we were having a great time. He was kind, patient, and has a real passion for what he does. Also has a great sense of humor. I would also like to commend our driver, Abdul. He was kind and hospitable. Drove safely and has a great sense of humor too. All in all, the food, staff, people, culture, and country was great.

This was our first trip to Egypt and we are so delighted that we chose this tour company! In six days we visited many sites (Cairo, Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan, and Abu Simbel). The tour company staff were always extremely professional from the initial booking process to saying goodbye on the last day of the trip. Our representatives, Sarah and Mohammed, were just wonderful, our tour guides Mena (Cairo), Salah (Luxor and Aswan) and Ashraf (Abu Simbel) were extremely knowledgeable and visibly passionate about their work, and our driver, Mustafa in Luxor and Aswan was friendly and very accomodating. When we come back to Egypt we will not hesitate to book with this company again!
This was a superbly paced and adventurous trek guided by the brilliant Hamid who took time to be sure that everyone was well looked after.
The trekking itself was well paced by Hamid with Mustafa supporting. The days preceding the summit day allowed time for beautifully prepared lunches and time to relax (but try to push through to get to Aremd early for a Hammam on day 2). Walking was steady (for me as a regular mountain walker, especially on summit day) but I found poles a real benefit, even though I don't usually use them.
Summit day was a cold start in early May, and paced for the whole group to reach the summit together, so more confident walkers were waiting at times. It's a tough day, with very little level walking and a lot of elevation gain (and of course, decent). It feels very different to any UK fell walking, despite the elevation gains not sounding similar to what we have here.
The unplanned interaction with locals, the Hamam at Aremd, local knowledge of Hamid and Mustafa and superb support team of porters and chef added interest to the trip.
Some of the accommodation was slightly different to advertised, with rooms for 4-5 on one night at Tizi Oussem. Tents and provided camping gear was good quality. The hotel was fine at Marrakech to bookend the trip.
I highly recommend bringing one of the Water to Go (or equivalent) bottles. Water is plentiful in streams or other places on the trek, but must be purchased otherwise, and it seems wasteful to rely on this and create a lot of plastic waste.
I was on the trek with Mike and Jacqui, so check out their reviews too.

The itinerary provided so much enjoyment, filled with variety, excitement, and entertainment. it combined scheduled events with added free time to explore on our own. The breaks in driving time was well planned out but, ALL FUTURE tour busses MUST have a WC on board. The accommodations for the most part were like no other. Just one location should be taken off the list in Savilla, it is not a good representation of you fine company. All in all, it was FANTASTIC and a bucket list item that I am so glad I took. Thank you
