Excellent tour where close encounters with a variety of animals, most notably Mountain Gorillas, are virtually guaranteed (with all the planning involved, you'd be extremely unlucky not to see Gorillas in Bwindi).
On the tour you also find out about the efforts made in conserving these rare animals and how that sometimes impacts on the human residents in the area both positively and negatively. The formation of several community groups, particularly focused on providing education and sustainable employment, particularly for women, is also shown

This was an amazing experience. Most of the accommodation was excellent, however, the house boat on the delta was not the one mentioned in our final itinerary, and the rooms were very small, however the staff on board were excellent and looked after us well producing excellent food in a tiny kitchen. The staff at Batonka lodge in Victoria Falls deserve a special mention too. Travel was via an open sided vehicle which was excellent for viewing animals but got very cold and blustery on the two days of long journeys, make sure you bring warm clothing, gloves and a scarf or mask to prevent breathing in dust. There were two long travel days, particularly the day traveling through Namibia, the border crossing took longer than expected due to the introduction of a required visa a few months earlier. An extra night slotted in Namiba would have taken the pressure off. I cannot fault our guide/driver Phenyo, his ability to spot wildlife was extraordinary, he was so knowledgeable about every bird and animal we saw and had an excellent understanding of animal behavior which he passed on. He looked after us from start to finish and was always so positive.
I chose this trip for the wildlife abs it did not disappoint, from a pack of hyenas eating a dead elephant to a leopard resting, multiple lions and what seemed like hundreds of giraffes and elephants to mongooses and even honey badgers. The optional boat trip at Chobe was another highlight. If you like wildlife then this is the trip for you. I loved every minute.

Our Cape to Victoria Falls was an amazing adventure, a tremendous way to be introduced to the hidden gems of South Africa, Namibia and Botswana. The tour was made more spectacular by our tour guides, their knowledge and ability to cater for our every wish and need, some we didn't even recognise ourselves. Great and varied accommodation, exciting, adventurous and challenging experiences. Constantly awakened senses. Why did I wait so long to visit Southern Africa? My recommendation, don't delay.

Kenya's week-long safari adventure was an unforgettable journey, taking us from the breathtaking elephant herds of Amboseli National Park beneath Mount Kilimanjaro, to serene early-morning boat rides among hippos on Lake Naivasha, and the vibrant birdlife of Lake Nakuru, where hundreds of species filled the skies. It concluded with the wildlife-rich plains of the Masai Mara, where we encountered lions, rhinos, giraffes, and zebras in their natural habitat. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect as safari tours seem expensive, and I kept wondering if it would really be worth the cost. But it absolutely was. From the first day I knew I’d made the right choice. Every game drive felt like a new adventure. One morning we watched a group of baby elephants playing in the dust while their mothers stood nearby. Later, we spotted a hippo yawning near a watering hole. So close we could see its giant teeth! And the sunsets? Incredible.
Our guide was excellent. He was friendly & funny. The group dynamic was easy and fun. We had a mix of people: a couple celebrating their anniversary, a solo traveler from NY, and me with a close friend. It never felt awkward or too crowded.
You don’t need to be super fit for this tour. Everything is done at a relaxed pace and was very accessible, even for folks who aren’t used to rugged travel.
If Tanzania is on your list, my advice is that you don’t overthink it. Just go. It’s 100% worth it.

Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve is set in the heart of Zululand where Africa’s Big 5 (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhinoceros) roam the flourishing savannah. Established in 1895 this is the oldest park in South Africa and encompasses over 98 000 hectares of the beautiful African landscape. This tour is in a closed vehicle. The Park contains an immense diversity of fauna and flora and is characterized by hilly topography. The list of animals in the park is long and varied.
Your guide will stop for lunch at Hilltop Camp (lunch at your own expense) giving you time to refuel and relax. After lunch, you will continue with your safari before leaving the park for Emdoneni Wild Cat Sanctuary.
At Emdoneni Cat Project, you will have a guided tour about South Africa’s endangered wild cat species. The aim of the project is to care for the various wild cat species which have been orphaned or injured in the wild and need care and rehabilitation. Emdoneni’s guided tour offers visitors a unique and exciting opportunity to literally get up close and personal with their magnificent cat species. There are four species of wild cats at Emdoneni; African wildcat, caracal, cheetah and serval. This once in a lifetime opportunity can be enjoyed whilst being educated on a tour. This activity is very popular!
After the tour, we start the two-hour journey back to Durban and will drop you off.
