Mohamed (sp?) was a great guide. Said was an excellent, safe driver. Overall this was an incredible experience and I would recommend Explore without hesitation. The itinerary was very good. With the large amount of driving, stops were well thought out. The local guide in Fez was particularly good - all the guides were quite good but he stood out. Teas with the nomad family and the Berber family were amazing highlights. A few very minor points and I mention them only for completeness. Most of the hotels were quite good, but many of the rooms did not have shower curtains or glass enclosures :-). The Marrakech guide made a few too many "man/woman" jokes - not a big deal, but just so he could tone that down for next time. The desert camp was amazing - one small thing, the singers only played for a very short time compared to the other camps. But again, a very small point. As I said, this was a wonderful experience. We have travelled a lot on our own but we could not have had this kind of experience on our own. Thanks so much for a fantastic trip!

Fantastic guides, porters, team. Great value for what you pay. Without this fanatastic team my father and I would not have made it to Uhuru peak. Great communication and service by Noel and his staff. We also did a 3-day safari with a professional and very knowledgeable guide/driver. Tiloma lodge was beautiful and great quality service/food.
Our trip to Egypt with World Expeditions was excellent. We had two guides, one for Cairo and one for the Nile and Aswan. Both had tertiary qualifications in Egyptian history and were passionate about it. It is an amazing country a nd a great, well run tour.

Join us on this nine-day, guided trip to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. This tour is for those wanting to conquer Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho Route, one of the most favoured route to summit Kilimanjaro because of its high summit rate and great scenery.
This route is less crowded than other routes, making it perfect from first-time trekkers. Also, since it takes more to reach the top through this route, it provides better acclimatization to the climbers, increasing the chances of a successful summit.
Your trek starts on the western side of Kilimanjaro from Londorossi Gate. Continue your journey through the rainforest to reach the Shira Plateau. At this point, the trail moves east to the Lava Tower from where it heads down to the Barranco Valley.
You also get the chance to spend a night in Crater Camp, just below the summit, during descent, which arguably is the most interesting part of this journey. This was my first time in in Egypt, it was an unforgettable experience! After seeing the Great Pyramids in Giza I took an overnight train to Luxor and spent several days exploring everything Luxor has to offer. I found the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank to be particularly fascinating (So much Ancient Egyptian history in a relatively small area!). I then spent three nights on a Nile cruise towards Aswan. The weather was perfect and we stopped at two Ancient Egyptian temples, Edfu and Kom Ombo. My tour guide was a certified Egyptogolist named Ahmed Haggag Ali. He really seemed to enjoy being a tour guide and his English was perfect. He explained the temples to me and was able to answer all of my questions. Kom Ombo was particularly fascinating to me because it was an ancient hospital. After arriving in Aswan, Ahmed was also my tour guide for visiting Abu Simbel (Another must see part of Egypt!). I highly recomend visiting Egypt and having Ahmed as a guide, you will not be disappointed.
