Joined the Cambodia Intro trip solo and can;t fault anything about the experience. The group leader (Izabela!!) was incredibly friendly, welcoming and communicative throughout the whole trip and prior.
The country is extremely relaxed and the people are super welcoming, it hard to go anywhere without being greeted or waved at by the local children. Every experience was well organised and the guide - whether that be a local or the tour leader - was knowledgeable and open to questions. I couldn;t recommend Intro enough to anyone wanting to travel solo or with friends! °
Lace up for a walking holiday in storybook Bavaria, where mountain vistas and cozy traditions await. The "Walking in Southern Bavaria" tour is an eight-day, self-guided journey beginning and ending in Oberammergau, famed for its Passion Plays and charming, painted houses. Enjoy a variety of hiking options each day—from exhilarating mountain routes towards Zugspitze to gentle strolls through flower-filled valleys and wetlands. With a Guest Card providing free local transport, you’re free to explore at your own pace and enjoy local customs like afternoon Kaffee und Kuchen. The USP? The flexibility to choose your adventure daily, all set within Bavaria’s timeless scenery and welcoming culture.
Excellent trip, fantastic sightseeing with a great group and an excellent guide! The pace was full on but everything worth it . The lunch with a local family, the visit of the school and the dinner with a nubian family gave it a special touch and the overnight train journey was really good fun. The only downside was the poor heating in some of the hotel/cruise ship rooms, bring a woolly jumper to sleep in if you travel in winter! Our guide was fantastic, extremely knowledgeable, fun, though when it was needed and managed always to accommodate some last minute wishes:
My partner and I recently completed the Everest Base Camp trek and I am 100% confident they are the best company available. From start to finish they were there for our every need.
During our time in Kathmandu, the agency representative was always at the hotel in person, greeting us with a warm welcome and a friendly smile. Before our arrival he was always on hand by email and replied almost instantly to every single question or query I sent him, even with the significant time difference between UK and Nepal. I really don't know how he does it.
Our guide during the trek was an absolute pro and was always on hand to answer questions or organize meals, permits or any other need we might have. His knowledge of the Everest region and how to navigate it physically was second to none and it was apparent by the many other guides and porters who stopped to greet him that he is a very experienced and well respected member of the trekking community.
A special thanks to the porters in our team, who powered up the trail every day carrying close to 40kg each. Never complaining and never without a smile or a fist bump. They arranged our meals in the evening and came along on acclimatization days.
Our group of 3 made it to Everest Base Camp. Many did not. I am certain this came down to the expert guidance and support given by the team. Should I ever return to undertake another adventure, it will be with this team.
Great experiences and activities - weather dependent.
Our only suggestion is to provide more detailed information on what to bring depending upon the week you book. We ended up purchasing and packing things that were unnecessary.
Ever wondered what it’s like to cross the Antarctic Circle? The "Quest for the Antarctic Circle" photography tour offers seasoned explorers a 14-day voyage from Ushuaia, journeying through the Drake Passage and along the wild western coast of the Antarctic Peninsula. Experience close-up encounters with penguin rookeries, whales, and icy landscapes aboard a specially designed expedition ship. The expert staff’s knowledge and the ship’s maneuverability make this much more than a cruise—it’s a true expedition. The defining highlight is the rare opportunity to reach the Antarctic Circle, offering a sense of discovery and pristine beauty that few travelers ever experience.
The amount of time spent each stop. Very informative places to see. Accommodation was excellent. Tour director organized well. Some places when meals on our own, poor food choices. Some places one night not enough.
