Scandinavia Glaciers Trips

New Zealand was top of our bucket list for a travel destination and it didn’t disappoint - simply a beautiful country with stunning scenery. Tha AAT Kings NZ Magic tour was very aptly named and we had a superb travel director and driver in Susie and Monica respectively. We will visit NZ again!!

Accommodation at Christchurch could be better. It took over an hour for luggage to reach rooms. The view from the rooms was very poor - dead wall or offices peeking in!! The breakfast at Ibis was also average All other hotels were very good and comfortable

It was a ripper of a trip! Great group of people and our trip manager and driver were awesome. The scenery was amazing and the add activities were awesome. Definitely recommend the jet boats, the glacier helicopter hike, canyoning and the canyon swing. Would recommend for anyone wanting to do the South Island of N.Z

It was amazing! The trip guides were incredible and made the whole thing very easy and fun and worry free. There was a perfect balance between activities booked and free time to hang out and explore with the friends we made along the way. The views were incredible, the friends were amazing, and I would definitely go again!

My Sweet As South journey across the stunning South Island was filled with breathtaking mountains, glaciers, lakes, and unforgettable moments. Every view felt like a postcard, and every day was an adventure. Grateful for the memories, the people, and the incredible landscapes that made this trip so special. 🌿✨

The trip was amazing, and I'm so glad I went - I would recommend it to anyone! You do have to be prepared for a big budget for free-time add-ons beyond what is included in the trip but it makes sense - not everyone is going to want to bungee/canyon swing/kayak etc. One thing - the nature of a modular trip does make it tricky to vibe with everyone socially (we were joining people who had been traveling together for 2 weeks already on NZ Ultimate/Panorama), but our Trip Manager was a gem about doing his best to integrate us in seamlessly. Just something to be aware of! Also bear in mind the trip was 95% Aussies aged 22 and under - not everyone's vibe, but also a very fun time :) Will definitely be doing another Contiki in my future!
