We recently utilized Himalayan Glacier Trekking for a Mt. Kilimanjaro hike and summit. There were 9 in our party - a mix of men, women, young and "not so young". We hiked the Lemosho route, an 8-day hike. The experience was amazing. Our guide Paul, and his assistant guides Fredy, Paul, Orio and the others were all great! They were very attentive to our needs, engaging, friendly, spoke great English, and were always there to help or assist us in any way.Our meals were very good, and consisted of eggs, sausage, oatmeal, and toast for breakfast, various sandwiches, soups, and fruits for lunch, and chicken, pastas and vegetables for dinner. The staff did a great job of preparing and serving each meal - we did not go hungry! The overall hike and trip was amazing. The guides were especially helpful on the summit day, when several of our party needed to shed our backpacks to continue climbing. The guys were right there to grab the packs and keep helping us up. They, and we, were successful, with all of our party reaching the summit. This is the second trip i have taken with HGT, having also used them for an Everest Base Camp hike a couple of years ago. i highly recommend this very professional and friendly, customer-centric outfitter for your hiking trip to Kilimanjaro (or the Himalayas). You will not be disappointed with them!
This trip was one of the best I have ever taken. From the moment of arriving in Morocco to the day I departed I felt like I was looked after and having a great time taking in all the stunning views and meeting new, interesting people.
Amazing tour with an amazing guide I went on the Colombia tour lead by Jose and had the absolute best time! It was a jam packed itinerary but the perfect balance of fun, exploration and relaxation. Jose was a fantastic tour guide and made sure we all had the best time as well as being extremely organised and welcoming! Met amazing people and could not recommend the tour enough! This was the first time I’ve ever been to South America and I can say for sure I’ll be back to explore some more
