Central Asia Tours in May 2027

We are well-seasoned travelers. This was my fifth or sixth trip with Insight — I actually traveled with my parents on Insight tours back in the 1990s — and we have taken dozens of trips around the world. Even with that experience, this Ireland journey stands out as one of our favorites. What made the trip so special was the balance it achieved. The itinerary was thoughtfully designed, offering a wonderful mix of iconic sights, hidden gems, cultural experiences, and free time to explore on our own. Each day felt well-paced, allowing us to see and experience a great deal without ever feeling rushed. The accommodations, excursions, and overall organization consistently exceeded our expectations. The trip also provided a deeper appreciation for Ireland’s history, culture, landscapes, and people. From historic sites and beautiful countryside to lively towns and local experiences, every day offered something memorable. We came away not only with wonderful photographs, but with a richer understanding of the country and many lasting memories. Of course, great trips do not happen by accident. Derek and Noel helped bring the itinerary to life and ensured everything ran smoothly. Derek kept the group informed, engaged, and organized while sharing interesting insights that enhanced our understanding of each destination. Noel’s professionalism and skill behind the wheel made travel days comfortable and stress-free, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the journey. Together, they complemented an already excellent itinerary and helped create a seamless travel experience. The combination of a well-planned tour, beautiful destinations, and a capable team made this one of the most enjoyable and memorable trips we have taken.

Micke was an excellent tour guide. Stefan was an excellent bus driver in Norway. Stockholm City Hall with the gold mosaic displays was amazing. There are too many memorable moments to list.

Dave and Ash were perfect hosts, guides, commentators, drivers, chaperones, in fact,you name it they were it! From start to finish they were consummate professionals, courteous, polite, knowledgeable, amusing and perfect hosts in every way. They are superb ambassadors not just for AAT Kings but also, for the beautiful country of Australia! Every attraction on the tour was greeted with enthusiasm by our hosts and even a couple of trips that were in their 'infancy' on the schedule and didn't quite match the enormity and splendour of the other trips were very enjoyable due to their honesty, participation and support. Accommodation throughout was superb, ranging from luxury City hotels to a couple of much smaller out of the way motels that were still a very good standard and beautifully clean. Everywhere we went we were supplied with wonderful food at excellent venues and always with a smile. Great banter on board our bus was helped and in the main initiated by Dave and Ash and apart from a couple of 'old sticks in the mud' everyone joined in and made the very best of our time together. Would we return with AAT? Of course we would. Would we prefer to go with Dave and Ash? You bet your sweet 'Ash' we would!!! Thank you one and all. We will be back!

Excellent itinerary for a great overview of France…from top to bottom and back! Our guide and driver provided a “top shelf” experience with so much information & background on each stop with included excursions yet plenty of free time to enjoy each area! Loved all of it!

It was fantastic though I would not call it a vacation. Constantly on the go, no rest for the very. Tour director was awesome as was the coach driver.

You get an excellent overview of all the varied regions, history and culinary traditions of the people of Italy. The scenery is outstanding and my dream of seeing Pompeii was the capstone. I majored in archaeology in college so seeing all of the sites we studied was a wish come true. And visiting the Vatican museums, upon coming out int St Peter’s Square, we happened upon the weekly Papal Audience which was a fun bonus as Pope Leo is from just down the road from my home!
