This brings us to picturesque landscape of Cappadocia where we visit the strange rock formations, cave chuches and 'fairy chimneys' in the Goreme valley and venture down into one of the labarynthine underground cities built by Christians centuries ago to hide from persecution. Good itinerary. Would have loved to have the chance to go to the temple in Edfu since we were on a ship with people that went. Aside from that, great itinerary to hit the major sights in the time allotted.

Did both South and North. South was little more challenging but duable. Long and some challenging hikes all worth it. Beautiful scenery and beaches. Accomodations were nice. Spiros was very passionate about his job and knowledgeable., also provided great support for me. Overall great experience.

We saw many sites, had three boat rides, and went to many places in a short period of time. The coastline of Gozo is spectacular. Our guide, Chantelle, taught us history, ancient and modern. She shared her country with us from a perspective of passion and knowledge. Our group dinners together were fun and we ate at wonderful restaurants at Chantelle's recommendation. I highly recommend this trip. Malta and Gozo are beautiful, deeply historical and varied in many so different ways. Coming from the US I arrived a few days early to get over the jet lag before the tour started. I recommend that as the days were full.

This tour was a perfect. It was the perfect itinerary to explore so many different parts of Italy. I got to see history and ancient architecture but then the very next day you are walking in trails and through vineyards with views you can only see on foot .. And then ending with amazing food, and regional wines and chocolate.. It was a perfect blend of culture, history and food.. with views that take your breath away.. every single day. There was enough down time to relax after day walks, use the pool, get some sun etc. whatever you fancy. I never felt over done or bored.. perfect blend.
