Tirana Tours and Trips

An interesting and varied itinerary (didn't feel Korce had much to offer however). Enjoyed the variety of locations, ably escorted by our excellent guide Gerion and skilful driver Fahti (who had to drive through dense fog in the mountains!). I thought the choice of accommodation was good and we were conveniently located in all locations.

It’s a magical and mystical trip. Albania is quite a revelation to me because I have a different perspective of what it is. It’s nice and people are very hospitable like us. But Montenegro is one for the books! It’s perfectly a picture of beauty and elegance! So love it!!

This was an excellent cycling trip. Albania has stunning scenery, great roads and friendly people. The tour guide and bike doctor were fun, knowledgable and efficient. we had good hotels and delicious food.

Irena, our tour leader was amazing. She had everything organized and went out of her way to insure everyone was taken care of and we had a lot of fun with her. Her knowledge of the regions was superb. Tony our driver was fantastic. Always had a smile and squeeze our mini bus into the tightest of spaces.

Excellent organisation and planning. Everything was very clear. I had a brilliant guide Besi who was helpful, friendly and informative. Really great route saw lots of Albania. Would recommend.

Exploring Albania was a great holiday. Our guide Dritan was amazing. He was a font on information about his country. Also a caring and professional guide. The trip is described as full on which in the past Explore trips has meant early long days but we did not encounter this. I assume it relates to the fact that most places are one night stops that can be tiring. The 20 seater coach was comfortable if a bit of a squeeze for 16 people. The driver was wonderful completing his role calmly on the windy roads and supporting our guide. It was a marvellous way to see Albania which is quickly modernising snd being discovered by more travellers. The scenery is stunning and the history fascinating. My only criticism is that a day of two longer at Kruje & Tirana would be better. Luckily we had extended our stay so we finished with as few days on our own in Kruje & Tirana.English is widely spoken and the 5 star hotels are relatively cheap.
