Singapore Tours in December 2026

A varied trip, covered lots of interesting cities/towns. Tour leader, Mally, was passionate about her country of Malaysia and was always cheerful and full of enthusiasm. She introduced us to many local food courts which we wouldn't have found independently. Perhaps an extra day in Penang instead of Kuala Lumpur would be good

A fantastic experience that works as a entry point into the traveller experience. Well built up cities mixed with some villages, solid accommodation also you to test out G adventures without having to worry about ruffing it.

The tour was well planned. Accommodation was good, although some needed to be closer to the centre of the places we visited. The tour leader was good, although there was some competition between him and the local guide in Malaysia - talked too much! Transfer didn't happen - the 3 of us on the group flight took longer to come through as our luggage didn't arrive with us - the transfer didn't wait - a poor start.

Singapore and Malaysia were fascinating countries to explore. The trip packed in all the main places of interest. The local Singaporean guide, Su was excellent - knowledgeable and engaging. Our tour leader, Andrew was superb and kept us all on track. My fellow travellers were great fun and made the trip truly memorable. Ideally, I’d have preferred to have had another night in Singapore and better quality accommodation but that said, the trip was good value and we saw a lot, so I can’t really complain. This was my first trip with Explore. I’ll definitely be looking at what other tours they have to offer.

A solid trip that mainly focuses on cities rather than country. Strong accommodation (wifi/air con) that are near the heart of the city. Some time at the beach with few excursions. A nice entry point if someone wants to try the traveller experience but wants to avoid ruffing it/ seeing the country.
