The trip was well organized, the guide was personable and enthusiastic while also considerate of each participants specific needs and the accommodation was lovely. Although the weather didn't always cooperate on this trip, adjustments were made to mitigate the situation.

Our guide Jorge Valério provided us with an excellent positive experience despite challenging weather. Hiking, biking, food, entertainment were all top notch. Exodus passionate knowledgeable guides who care that their guests have a great experience. Trip descriptions and itineraries are well matched by the experience and we prefer the international guests we meet to being with other Americans. Trip locations suit our sense of what makes for an interesting travel experience - an active schedule with interesting fun people who are fit and enjoy nature as well as an urban cultural experience.

My trip to the Azores was fantastic! We saw so much in a short period of time and enjoyed a variety of activities. Our leader, Vera, was outstanding. She was very organized, friendly, fun, and thoughtful. Vera helped create a cohesive and congenial group.

We were a family of 13 ranging in ages from 10 to 78 in celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. The tour included many great sites, experiences and lots of food that appealed to all ages along with enough free time to explore on our own. Our tour director, Juan Kratzmaier, was phenomenal! He was so fun and had a great sense of humor as well as being informative. He went out of his way to interact with the kids, suggested and implemented activities for them during the free time. The Azores are a hidden gem with breathtaking landscapes and lots of cultural activities.

The vista overlooks were amazing. We especially enjoyed the brunch home tour in Faial and the traditional volcanic meal cooked underground. The meals and hotels provided were all excellent. Would have loved more time exploring Lisbon!

Very challenging hiking, amazing scenery - weather was tough! Earthquake one day and 100km winds at the top of the mountain! Not certain we should have been up there that day!
