Great trip

This trip is a great way to see the Greek islands in a group environment. Our group was nice and small which allowed us to have some great experiences that might not be possible in larger groups. There are some great included activities but also ample free time to see other experiences

The trip was great overall. We did end up only having less than 24 hours in Mykonos due to ferries being canceled, but our trip managers were fast in organising alternative accommodation/activities. We had so much fun with there being a good balance between history/culture and having nights out and doing fun things. I made so many friends along the way.

Excellent

This tour gave me countless unforgettable memories, but the most special moment for me was the sunrise hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia. Floating above those unique valleys felt like a dream. Since returning to the U.S., I’ve recommended this tour to everyone I know. Huge thanks to Eskapas for their effort and warm smiles throughout, ensuring everything ran smoothly.

Greece Island Hopper July 2025

The Greece island hopping trip was such a great way to explore different parts of Greece without the stress of organising it yourself. I learned so much about the local knowledge and customs. It is a great way to travel solo and meet people along the way. The boat trip in Ios was amazing, swimming in the bright blue sea was stunning.

Excellent

This was my first time in Greece, and it couldn’t have gone better. The tour was really chill, Mykonos was so fun with its beautiful little shops, and I loved how the hotels were always in great locations.

Good

Very good trip, the length of the trip is not to long and the activity’s that are done are very enjoyable but also leave time to enjoy the place at your own pace.

Santorini - Tour Highlights and Travel Tips

Travel Highlights

  • Fira is the capital of Santorini and its main transport hub. Here, you will find the Museum of Prehistoric Thera, which contains an impressive collection of Minoan-era artefacts.
  • Nestled on the rugged slope of a caldera, Oia a a small village in northwest part of the island from which you can catch spectacular views of the sunset.
  • The upmarket, family-friendly Kamari Beach lies 9 kilometers southeast from Fira. Its fun atmosphere coupled with a wide range of places to eat and drink makes it one of the most popular beaches on the island.
  • The Red Beach is a small, yet otherworldly spot tucked away on the southwest edge of the isle. Due to unusual red sand and tall cliffs in matching hue, this beach is one of the most naturally stunning locations in Santorini.
  • Hosting a plethora of fascinating ruins that date back to the Greek Bronze Age, Akrotiri archeological site is a must-visit for any history buffs planning a trip to Santorini. Since the settlement was buried in volcanic ash during the Thera eruption, many of the excavations remained well-preserved.

Travel Tips

  • The quickest way to get to Santorini is to book a flight from Athens. During peak months of July and August, flights also operate from Thessaloniki.
  • Due to it unusual geological features, Santorini is an ideal ground for growing rarevarieties of produce. Among them are white eggplants (sweeter and with fewer seeds than its more common counterpart) and Santorini tomatoes, which play the main role in the island’s signature dish – ntomatokeftedes or tomato fritters.
  • If you are looking to get a taste of local wine during your visit to Santorini, head to your
nearest taverna and ask for a crisp glass of their finest Assyrtiko.
