There are not many places in the world where you can ski down a snow slope and sun yourself on a beach all in the same day. Santiago de Chile is one of those places. Embraced by the Andes from the east and the Cordillera of the Coast from the west, with the Pacific Ocean in close proximity, a Santiago tour will introduce you to rugged natural beauty.

A fortnight in Chile

Great holiday from start to finish. Varied itinerary - I felt as if we’d covered a lot of ground & gained a good insight into the various areas/culture etc of Chile.

An Insight of Chile

From snow-capped mountain peaks, lakes, volcanoes, glaciers to the desert, Chile had so much to offer! We covered so much in 2 weeks. This trip is the perfect way to see the country and the main highlights. We managed to see to some key wildlife such as Condors, Guanacos, Viscacha, Flamingos, and various more. Miguel, our leader was truly exceptional as a local leader as he had all the knowledge from wildlife, culture to geothermal, he had all the answers to our questions. Some of the hotels we stayed at were great from the views of Lake Pehoe from Hosteria Pehoe to the pool and outdoor area in San Pedro de Atacama, it was great to chill after some early starts.

Argentina Patagonia and Chile had been on my bucket list, and this itinerary by Trafalgar is well balanced starting with the cosmopolitan elegance and history of Buenos Aires, giving the greater number of days to exploring the extraordinarily stunning beauty of Patagonia, and closing with beautiful Santiago de Chile surrounded by the Andes. I did add two extra days to explore Santiago.

Excellent

This tour was full of culture and community. We loved the range of activities offered in the cities and the mining tour was a real highlight, run by ex miners who have an amazing sense of humour!

Fantastic experience

We had a fantastic experience with the team planning for our first trip to Chile! Claudia organized an incredible trip, including Santiago, Valparaiso, and then domestic flights to San Pedro de Atacama and Patagonia. We had the most magical trip and appreciated the thoughtful planning and considerations to help us make the most of our vacation! We also loved working with Joaquina from the Customer Service Team, who took care of us throughout all of our adventures! Even when one of our flights was canceled (due to bad weather), Joaquina jumped in to help us find alternate options. We highly recommend the team and would love to work with them again in the future! 💫

Excellent

A fantastic trip to a unique part of the world. It wasn't and "easy" trip - travelling vs. a vacation. It took me out of my comfort zone and made me see the worked in a different light. Travelling to such a unique part of the world was and honour and I look forward to my next G Adventure.
