Reviews of our Rapid City Tours for June
Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around Rapid City during June.
I was impressed with the beauty of the national parks and the other sites we visited. is a very knowledgeable tour guide and has a great sense of humor! I learned a lot of interesting facts about our country’s history. also did a great job!
Amazing scenery. Comfortable seats and enjoyable ride through all of the states. Our tour director was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot about my own state of Arizona.
The itinerary was great, but the best excursions were add ons. There was even one day with nothing to do unless you added on an extra trip. Side trip to billings MT was a waste of time….no site seeing and dinner was just okay.
Every thing was great, our team made sure even the long rides between stops was enjoyable. My one concern was the hotel in Yellowstone. Would have been nice to have more food options, but the main concern was Witt the bathtubs - they were very high (deep)with no grab bars this made it hard for seniors.
We would have liked a visit to the Little Big Horn battle site (Custer's last stand) which we drove right by The only other small drawback was the length of time at the Crazy Horse Memorial. Could have taken it all in, in less time All else was spectacular !
This itinerary was packed full of adventure! We saw and did so much and to make it even more special our tour director, was extremely informative, friendly and entertaining. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide! Our driver, was excellent and very professional also. They were a great team! The accommodations were a great mixture of western themes and beautiful places. Our favorite was the Slate/Hilton in Denver, a former 1800’s schoolhouse converted into a beautiful hotel. This former schoolteacher loved the special touches. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone!
