This was my second trip to Galapagos with G this year. I was so impressed with the first trip when I took my 15 year old son that I urged my 13 year old to go so I could return. Each trip was unique in the details, but the whole experiences were equally great. It was good to see the consistency in the quality of guides we had: Dario Chimarro and Sandra Masaquiza. They were both born in Galapagos and were extremely knowledgeable about. every aspect of the islands. Now my husband wants to know when I'm going to "take him." I'm thinking next year. :)

My recent trip to the Amazon Forest in Ecuador with G Adventures surpassed all expectations and stands out as the best adventure I?ve ever experienced. From start to finish, every aspect of the trip was meticulously planned, ensuring a seamless and unforgettable journey into the heart of the Amazon. The highlight of the trip was undoubtedly the incredible hosting family we stayed with. Their warmth, hospitality, and genuine kindness made us feel like a part of their community from the moment we arrived. The food they prepared was not only delicious but also a true reflection of the local flavors and culture. Our guide, Andrea, was nothing short of exceptional. His deep knowledge of the Amazon ecosystem, combined with his passion for adventure and commitment to ensuring our safety and enjoyment, truly made him the heart and soul of our experience. Andreas insights and stories added depth to every moment of our journey, and his enthusiasm was contagious. Throughout the trip, every activity was thoughtfully curated to provide us with authentic and immersive experiences in the Amazon. Whether it was hiking through the lush rainforest, encountering diverse wildlife, or engaging with local communities, each day brought new adventures and unforgettable memories. I cannot recommend this trip with G Adventures highly enough. For anyone seeking a genuine and enriching adventure in one of the world?s most awe-inspiring natural environments, this experience is an absolute must. Loved the Galapagos!! was a wonderful guide and had so much positive energy, knowledge about the wildlife, and thoughtful suggestions about things to do. The islands were so beautiful, the wildlife was insane (truly a bucket list trip), the hotels were nice, and the food was better than expected as a vegetarian. I feel like the stop in Santa Cruz was a bit rushed with only 1 night - I wish we had more time there to explore, as well as to enjoy the hotel as it was beautiful and we never really had time to enjoy the pool or amenities. Also note that the boat rides between the islands can be a bit tough if you're someone who gets motion sick. Definitely bring meds and you should be good to go. Highly recommend overall and was a trip of a lifetime!

It was like a dream come true. I've learned a lot and got to experience life in a way many do not. The people were amazing, the activities were exciting, and I feel truly bonded to them after just a few short days. I wish the journey never ended.

We had a fantastic time in the Galapagos. This was our second tour with G adventures and both have run very smoothly from a logistics perspective. The Galapagos tour was packed full of activities and everything you could ever want/need was taken care of so you can just enjoy the islands/snorkelling. We had a great team of G adventures staff looking after us, and can?t wait to go back one day to see the rest of the islands.

While Ecuador is synonymous with the Galapagos Islands, the Highlands of Ecuador tour provides a diverse set of city and nature experiences. These were brought to life by an experienced, enthusiastic, knowledgable and extremely personable guide. The guide was about to personalize the experiences in cities like Cuenca to accomodate a diverse range of interests.
