Incredible experience. The country’s rich history and vibrant culture made every moment fascinating. From exploring ancient Mayan ruins to strolling through charming colonial towns, there was always something new to discover. The selection of hotels was excellent, offering a mix of comfort, authenticity, and great service. A highlight of the trip was our guide, Josh. His deep knowledge of Mexican history, culture, and traditions truly brought the experience to life. He was not only informative but also friendly and engaging, making every tour both educational and entertaining. Overall, this trip exceeded expectations, blending history, great accommodations, and outstanding guidance into an unforgettable adventure. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our recent highlights tour of Mexico. There was lots to see and explore. We thought the ancient sites were magnificent. However, we recommend that people arrive in Mexico city a couple of days beforehand to acclimatise and really explore this magnificent city and its museums. In Particular the Anthropology museum. We really enjoyed the mountainous regions, and the indigenous areas were just so interesting. The towns and cities of San Christobal De las casas, Campeche and Merida were splendid and worth staying for longer and really getting to know. Playa del Carmen at the end of the trip was a huge disappointment. It's not worth the effort and is a little tacky.

A great trip on land, underground and on the sea.

My wife and I are over 75 years old, but fit. We hiked and climbed Mayan pyramids, swam and trekked through an underground cave, snorkeled and dove reefs and shopped and dined in local markets. We took some extra trips, but passed on those, such as scaling an active volcano, that were not our cup of tea. By car, van, bus, boat, bike and foot, the adventure was always interesting. The tour guide handled all arrangements and ironed out the occasional glitch. However, he would arrange for local guides who had regional knowledge and views. We met many typical residents of three countries and interacted with them on a close and personal level.

The organisation of the trip was great and our tour leader Ana was very enthusiastic and her knowledge was extensive; making all the information very easy to understand and follow. Our driver Tino was also very nice and helpful. The swim at the cenote was a definite wonderful addition to the itinerary. The itinerary was well balanced with a good range of activities. Some feedback we hope will help in future tours is: . It would have been useful to include the Anthropology museum into the first day to set the scene for the Archaeological sites . It would have been good to know in advance that we would need $40 towards tips as not everyone might have USD with them. . The last night was disappointing as the hotel was not as good a standard as the previous ones and the town was not in keeping with the rest of the tour as it was very noisy and brash.

A very interesting trip with a lovely group and good guide which serves as an introduction to Mexico. Be aware, this is as described: a full-on trip which gives an overview of 5 archeological sites. Over 3,000 kms by road there is little time for rest or undertaking anything other than specified on the tour programme. If you want to see Mexico City you should go a few days in advance.

The good: Small group of 6. Tour leader was friendly, very knowledgeable, happy to make adjustments to accommodate special requests, and went out of her way to help out when our Spanish language skills failed us. Itinerary absolutely delivered on the promise of being packed full of the highlights. Not so good: The itinerary didn’t allow for enough time at Palenque, Uxmal and Chichen Itza. I would have preferred to have spent more time at those magnificent sites rather than have to climb back in the minibus and get on the road so that we could get to the next hotel in time for dinner. A couple of poor choices for getting something to eat when on the road and on the last night in Playa Del Carmen.
