Ngorongoro Crater Wildlife Trips

Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect as safari tours seem expensive, and I kept wondering if it would really be worth the cost. But it absolutely was. From the first day I knew I’d made the right choice. Every game drive felt like a new adventure. One morning we watched a group of baby elephants playing in the dust while their mothers stood nearby. Later, we spotted a hippo yawning near a watering hole. So close we could see its giant teeth! And the sunsets? Incredible. Our guide was excellent. He was friendly & funny. The group dynamic was easy and fun. We had a mix of people: a couple celebrating their anniversary, a solo traveler from NY, and me with a close friend. It never felt awkward or too crowded. You don’t need to be super fit for this tour. Everything is done at a relaxed pace and was very accessible, even for folks who aren’t used to rugged travel. If Tanzania is on your list, my advice is that you don’t overthink it. Just go. It’s 100% worth it.

I’ve done safaris in South Africa before, but Tanzania was next-level. We saw so much in just a week. Elephants up close in Lake Manyara, lions lounging in the Serengeti, and even rhinos in Ngorongoro Crater. What stood out was how uncrowded it felt. Our group was just six people, so it never felt rushed or commercial. The guide was local, sharp-eyed, and incredibly respectful of the animals. The accommodations weren’t luxurious but clean and comfortable. And the views, whether sunrise over the crater or giraffes crossing the road..were unforgettable. For anyone serious about wildlife, this is worth every penny. You must do this tour!

The four day private wilderness adventure was fantastic. We saw lions, elephants and giraffes in the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Accommodation was top notch. A special thanks to Cecy for organizing this unforgettable trip!

The food and sleeping arrangements were also quite good. We didn't lack anything and had nothing at all to be unhappy about. I heartily suggest this vacation to everyone who enjoys adventure.

The 3-day safari to Tarangire, Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater, was incredible. The scenery was spectacular, and we got to view all of the creatures. Anthony, our guide, was wonderful. It was an incredible three-day safari that took us through the Tarangire, Central Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. We could see every animal, and the scenery was stunning.
