I and my fiancée had an unforgettable experience in Africa. From the moment we arrived in Tanzania, we ware captivated by the stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and the sheer sense of adventure that surrounded me. The safari lodge we stayed at was absolutely incredible, snuggled in the heart of the Serengeti National Park, it offered luxurious accommodations while still allowing us to feel connected to nature. The staff was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Our game drives were the highlight of the safari. Led by knowledgeable and passionate guide named Regan, we were able to see an incredible array of animals in their natural habitat. We marveled at majestic elephants bathing in rivers, witnessed lions on the hunt, and came face to face with graceful giraffes. Each moment felt like something out of a wildlife documentary, "
We did our safari with this travel specialist and everything was well organised. Daudi the owner was very active and very open on answering all of questions. He also customised the best itinerary just from asking us few questions. Before the safari he met as at the hotel for briefing and dinner together. On the safari we had lots of suprises, the jeep was very clean and comfortable with books, binocular also Beers was in mine fridge inside the jeep and every evening after dinner we had one glass of a wine. The hot meals was served through out the safari. Our guides name was Mr Malissa he is very professional he couldn't blink his eyes, He wanted us to see every kind of animals at the end of the safari we saw so so many animals, he also verfunny and friendly, he taught as a lot about flora and fauna. We felt like we paid less for the service we got from the team. After safari Daudi came to meet us at the hotel to get the feedback. Thank you so much Daudi and Malissa.
Our Safari in Tanzania was one of the best and We wont forget it in our entire life. Me and My Wife decided to book with Meijo Safaris after receiving their package and the price was in our budget. The communication from the starting to the end was smoothly and Daudi the Owner Answered all of our questions and also took care of us the moment we landed at Kilimanjaro Airport. We Did 5 Days Luxury Safari, our Guide Juma was awesome and he did his best job by making sure we saw all the animals from Big Five to Big Cats. We saw Pride of Lions, Herd of Elephants, Leopard on tree and the rhino at Ngorongoro. The Accommodation was something words cant explained the name of the Lodges from Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti was Serena nice people and delicious food not to forget the beautiful designs of that lodge. After Safari we decided to spend two days in Arusha and Daudi was always there to show us around and helped us to shop. If you are looking for the best Local Tour Operator in Arusha then Meijo Safaris is one of the best and trusted tour Operator. One Day we will return to Tanzania to do safari with my kids and we will still choose Meijo Safaris :)
We had an amazing safari and Kilimanjaro summit all thanks to this tour operator! Their service was top notch and value was fantastic. The service provided by our guides and supporting staff were top notch! We started with a 6 day safari that was absolutely epic. Our Safari Guide, Chris, was incredible! You should definitely request him. He was super nice and very accommodating. He found us every animal we could ever have wanted to see! Despite some challenging off-road driving conditions, he never got stuck and always got us to see the best animals around. We saw lions and elephants that were so close, we would nearly reach out and touch them from the landcruiser. He found us two leopards, two cheetahs, tons of lions, two rhinos and more zebras, giraffes, cape buffalos, and wildabeasts than we could count, just to name a few. My favorite was seeing a male lion out in a rain storm who was seperated from his pride. He was calling out to them and you could see the worry in his eye as he walked right by our landcruiser in search of them.We then did a Kilimanjaro hike to the summit via the Lemosho 7 day route. Our guides, Rama and Bakari, were fantastic and the chef, Kurwa, amazed us with the food he was able to make on the mountain. Our waiter, Arold was gracious and attentive in delivering all the food to our dining tent. I highly recommend requesting them. The team of porters (Salim, Frenk, Mohamed, Josephat, Mwingi, Sigi, David, Siriri, Msafiri, Idd, Abdina and Moyo) amazed us with their kindness, helpfulness and always positive attitudes. They were always smiling even when carrying a heavy load at high altitudes in chilling conditions. Their attitudes were truly inspiring.Naick is the owner and the lead coordinator. He was very helpful over the course of more than a month of coordination via email to set up and schedule the trip. He was always responsive and able to answer all of our questions and take care of all of our needs. It was challenging to execute this trip during COVID because of our flights getting cancelled but Naick helped us adjust as necessary. Going during COVID turned out to be a huge bonus because the national parks are all virtually empty so you get the animals and Kilimanjaro virtually to yourself.
I just finished my 4 days Tanzania Safari. I joined a group of 5 people, strangers but came to find out we all come from the same country which was a welcomed coincidence. We had a great time with our guide James and stomach doctor Buri. Steve with communication was perfect, quick and professional. I had read a scary review but he assured me that their service is perfect and they have their own office and vehicles. I took a risk and it was worth it. We met at their office in Arusha Centre Tourist Inn before the safari for payments, then proceed the safari which was more than I ever imagined or expected. The entire 4 days to Manyara Serengeti Ngorongoro crater was handled professionally and I have high standards. I really liked this tour company. We managed to see all wild animals and the service was great. It was an excellent option in terms of value for money. James, Buri and Steve I will never forget you, thank you all for the experience.
Great trip, the only "bad" thing is that we sleep 2 nights at Jambo Camp site, which isn't situated in a National Park and close to the main road and bars, which was too noisy, especially for the first night
