Reviews of our New York Tours for Spring
Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around New York during Spring.
A fabulous trip. It was very well Organised. The Tour Director and driver were excellent and very friendly. Everything was on time and vegetarian meals were organised too. The optional tours and general sight seeing was informative and interesting. The hotels were well situated in the city centre and that is big plus point. I would definitely recommmend Trafalgar to others.
The itinerary was good for the first tour of the season. Adjustments needed to be made that were out of the control of the tour director who was able to adjust to the changes with minimum fuss to the tour. Seatbelts on the bus could be best described as atrocious as they had very little flexibility and restricted movement. It is understood that this is not a reflection on Trafalgar but is feedback that should be passed on to the manufacturer of the vehicle. This is relevant now that seatbelts are mandatory in some states.
Loved the hotel. It was close to many restaurants and points of interest. I especially enjoyed seeing the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. The Broadway shows were very enjoyable too.
First time to NYC & first time seeing Broadway plays. There is so much to see but not enough time to see them but what I saw was very impressive. The Broadway shows were great. Don’t know how much time we had at Liberty Island or the 9/11 Memorial but it seemed like I still didn’t see everything because there was so much to take in & not enough time to to watch/listen to all the stories in some of the room. What I did see was eventful & I would go back again. The meals were very good at the restaurants chosen. Grateful for the inclusion of pickup & drop off to & from airports. Made it so easy & the drivers were very friendly. The tour manager, Paula Richter, did an excellent job.
Every thing was great except the last night at our hotel. There was large group of school age kids making a LOT of noise and I was able to sleep and had an early flight the next morning.
This tour was just right; plenty of planned activities but also enough free time to see/do what we wanted. Our tour guides were excellent, and it was easy to tell they love what they do. My favorite experience was visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. I love history, and these places put me spots where I could imagine the hustle and bustle of the past.
