Feedback from guests whose tour started in/around Nashville during Fall.
I am a music lover, and was amazed at how many different aspects of music were covered in the tour from types of music, locations related to music and experiences of music done live. Our tour leader Elizabeth Williams was amazing. She had such attention to detail and kept us so well informed every step of the way The accommodations were excellent and the coach bus and driver. Derek were another part of this amazing experience.
Elizabeth was great. She put a lot of energy and work into keeping us entertained while we were traveling. The tour fulfilled a lot of places and experiences I wanted to enjoy. French quarter, Graceland, and Nashville didn't disappoint. Only thing I wanted to enjoy but couldn't work in was a fried oyster po' boy.
This trip was full of culture, great music and warm Southern charm. Every day offered something new to discover, and even in our free time there was so much to explore.
everything was excellent. While you would think that being on a bus for hours would be boring, our tour guide Wesley always kept it fresh and exciting. Explaining the many cultures and back stories. Loved every minute. Including our group cutting a CD at SUN recording studio in Memphis.
Fantastic experiences, plenty of free time to explore on own. The trip to Grand ole Opry was a highlight as was the trip to Graceland. The dinner and music in Beale Street on night 1 in Memphis was amazing. We loved the swamp tour in Louisiana where we saw alligators. The only experience I did not enjoy was Be My Guest. We attended a piano recital in someone's home. This music was not to my taste and seemed strange considering the other experiences with country, blues, rock and jazz genres.
All hotels were excellent, including the Opry resort which was top-notch. Nice to have breakfast included to get a quick start to the day. ***********, our tour director, had a great personality and was very familiar with the area that added highlights to the trip. He was very personable in fact, celebrated birthdays, going out of his way to bring treats for the group. Drew even played trivia games on our long bus rides to keep everyone entertained. I would highly recommend this trip to all my friends and family.
