One of my best cycling trips. Our guide Massimo was great: smiling all the time, keeping us fully informed all the time, choosing great restaurants, asking each evening for our highlight of the day. The towns we stayed in and the stops for bread making, mozzarella making, olive oil tasting and wine tasting made for an interesting trip. Cycling into Matera was a longer climb than I was expecting for a “Leisurely “ day … walked a few hundred metres. Would recommend this trip.

Explore leader was fabulous and suggested super excursions and restaurants. Great cycling although first couple of days were a little more challenging than expected for the quoted grade level. Hotels were perfect and in great locations.

Great way to explore Puglia. It exceeded my expectations. Accommodation was great. Particularly Matera staying in the caves with amazing views over Sassi. Massimo was such a great guide. I'd rate the ride as moderate, as some of those hills were big and glad I converted to an e-bike on 2nd day.

This was a great vacation experience. I was nervous about doing a cycling vacation but this delivered on all counts: great guide in Massimo, thoughtful and comprehensive itinerary, clean and comfortable hotels, and quality bikes. The rides were totally doable in terms of distance and elevation while also providing wonderfully scenic rides every day. Highlights were the city of Matera (including walking tour with Fabrixio) and visit to the farm of Anna and Paolo for lunch. Massimo was fantastic as a guide and really ensured that everyone had a good experience every day. There were 6 people in our group from UK, Canada, Australia and US.

This was my first tour group and it exceeded my expectations. Our guide Massimo was fantastic. Paid attention to every detail and made sure we were always safe on our bikes. Some of the hills were a bit more difficult than I expected, but I had rented an E bike and therefore had no problems. The countryside was beautiful and the itinerary was great. It was not just about biking but visiting the regions as well. .
