Marrakech Tours in Winter

I honestly can’t put into words how amazing this trip was, everything was perfect. The amount of things we got to do in a small space of time and all the wonderful people we met along the way made it so hard to say goodbye! Being shown around by our tour guide and queen Driss was by far the best part of the trip and I think any tour would be hard to beat without him there to sing for us and make sure we’re all being treated like queens. From taking us to unique and beautiful places off the itinerary to dancing with us in the desert, I felt so safe the whole time with Driss as our guide and Hamid as our driver and would absolutely love to relive the experience all over again. LIFE IS GOOD <3

This trip was everything I hoped it would be AND MORE. Seeing Morocco through this tour was truely a once in a lifetime experience. I will tell all of my friends about this experience for many years to come. This is all owed to Driss; his guidance curated a trip full of travel over mass tourism. In addition to the included activities it was evident that Driss wanted to provide the best opportunities for us to seize our holiday. For example Driss would often suggest optional activities that allowed us to see the grassroots of the local communities as he knew this meant a lot to the group and all of the optional activities he suggested ended up being the favourites parts of many people’s trip. If anyone thinking about going on this trip solo is worried about making friends no need to stress, Driss is exceptional at bonding the group. No matter what you will walk away having met women from all walks of life.

This was another fabulous experience with g adventures. The itinerary allowed us to experience the country of Morroco. We learned so much about the people, their customs, culture, cuisine and about the beautiful geography of such a diverse country. Thank you, keep up the good work!

The Grand Tour of Morocco was a very good experience. Our guide Omar and driver Hussan were excellent. Hussan kept our minibus spotless and was always warm and friendly, helping out wherever he could. Our guide Omar went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He was always available to solve any issues that came up, and tried to cater to our group to make sure we had what we needed and wanted. We only had seven people on our tour, which made the 14 passenger seat minibus (which was brand new) very comfortable. We had a good combination of group activities and independent time on our own. I was a solo traveller, and enjoyed getting to know everyone on the tour. The tour was in February, which turned out to be a great time to be in Morocco. It was cool in the morning and evenings, and comfortably warm in the afternoon. Bring warm sweaters and a good jacket if you visit in February. The best part was there weren’t too many tourists around making sites easier to visit and restaurants easier to get a good table. I found the Moroccan people to be very friendly, and I never felt unsafe anywhere we went. Our guide made sure we had our bearings in each new city or town we stayed in so it was easy to get around. The accommodations ranged from very good to shabby. I don’t mind basic accommodation as long as it’s clean, but one hotel we stayed for two nights was run down and not clean. The Riad we stayed in on our last night was beautiful and very comfortable. I also really enjoyed both nights at the Nomad camps in the desert. There were some very long days on the minibus (six to eight hours of driving on a few days), but our guide made sure we had stops to stretch our legs. We covered well over 3000 kilometres on this tour, which provided a great opportunity to really see the country. I would highly recommend this tour so long as you’re prepared for the full on pace and some long days. Again, I can’t say enough how much I appreciated our guide and driver.

The 'Morocco North and South: Mountain Villages and Ancient Kasbahs' itinerary provided us with a wonderful overview of the country of Morocco and its people. One could not have accomplished this on their own, GAdventures was able to curate the travel experience.
