The star of the experience was Gracie - how she made us a cohesive group. She kept everything on schedule. Gracie had a great smile and sense of humour. She was very knowledgeable about Costa Rica and we drove along on the bus she would give us information on agriculture, education, schooling, history of the country etc Great discussion on the challenges of the massive increase in tourism. Certainly would very much enjoy having Gracie as my CEO on my next trip

We had a wonderful and appreciated our CEO, Kim. She picked out good activities, helped us to think about when each type of activity would be best and how to weight the options. There were some tough personalities and she navigated those relationships with grace. We hit some major traffic and she remained calm. Kim set the tone for the week and her positive energy worked well with the kids to give them great experiences!

This exceeded our expectations. My wife and I are experienced travelers and this was the first ?real? trip experience for our kids. Having a family themed trip was wonderful, and the kids had a blast with their tour friends. The other parents were easy to bond with. Berny was a great guide, and we were very satisfied with the experience. Looking forward to another tour!

It was amazing! This tour was perfectly suited for families, and it was so lovely traveling with other people who understand the extra challenges of traveling with kids. Plus, the smaller group size made bonding easier, and travelling extra pleasurable. The nature was unbelievably amazing. The local guides were all enthusiastic and knowledgeable and there was a great mix of activities so that you could choose things that you were most interested in. I would absolutely go on another G Adventures tour based on this experience. Pura vida!

This trip went beyond our expectations on many levels: we got to see so much wildlife and had the opportunity to partake in many adventures and local living; my daughter made friends with the other children and had a blast with them which was what I was hoping for when we decided to do this trip.

National Geographic would not buddy up with a tour company unless they had the highest standards. This was my 1st journey with a Nat Geo - G Adventures tour and I would 100% go again and look forward to doing more such tours. Our guide was professional, knowledgeable, vigilant and reliable. We felt entirely safe with all of his recommendations. The tour was fabulous even though we had a lot of rain! The itinerary was excellent, activities were all fun and inspiring. Such a wonderful focus on nature and not commerce. The local guides were knowledgeable, enthusiastic without being fake and we all left with such a respect and awe for this beautiful gem of a country. One of the best trips I've ever had.
