Krabi Tours and Trips

I enjoyed the trip as it allowed me to see quite a bit of Thailand, and enjoy a focus on nature. For the most part the accommodations were nice, although the one in Bangkok was not in a convenient location for sightseeing. I would have preferred to have been closer to the river and the tourist ferry. The river raft was fun but 2 nights was long enough. The accommodations in Koh Lanta were in a great location but felt tired and unkept, but we spent so little time in the room it didn’t matter much. I loved the Lost Horizon Lodge. Certainly a keeper! The optional tours were amazing and I recommend the boat tour and kayaking in mangroves. Finally, Tui our guide was wonderful. Whenever I asked, is it possible……? she made it happen. Very knowledgeable and great communication.

As you’d expect from the map and itinerary, there’s a lot of time travelling on this trip, but the highlights visited are well worth it. Our tour leader, Tui, was exceptional in making the trip smooth, enjoyable and fun.

Varied countryside, fun taking two long train trips. Staggered to see the deprivations of the Railroad of Death (think Bridge over the river Kwai) brilliant spending 2 nights on a raft, and still had the best food of the trip

A great all rounded trip. Our guide was v accommodating and happy to please. She gave us plenty of stops for snacks and coffee. She explained not all meals come at once in a group, nor starters. Food was good and cheap and well catered for vegetarians etc. Accommodation was good overall. Would have liked one less night in the jungle and an extra night at the Dolphin Bay resort to use the facilities. Great to have water provided at every hotel and a kettle. Lots of optional activities on this trip which add to the price but all v good. Expect some trips to be v busy in the touristy areas. Well recommended.

Explore excelled again. Our guide Mhor was fantastic. His guidance and knowledge made every day special. The itinerary from Bangkok to AoNang showed the full spectrum of Thailand at its best. Thank you for making such amazing experiences and memories to treasure. I would recommend Explore to anyone.

I just returned from a 15 day trip to Thailand. Charlie the Traveler was so easy to work with. Details of the trip were wonderful. It was somewhat a last-minute trip and everyone was so responsive to make it happen. And I enjoyed the flexibility of the trip. I was able to set my own start and ending date for the trip, pick my own hotels, and determine what activities appealed to me. As things change, which they always do when traveling, Charlie the Traveler was there – 24/7 – to fix it. I was never concerned about drivers not showing up on time, or guides being less than professional. As a senior woman travelling alone, it was just amazing! I can’t wait to go on my next trip with Charlie the Traveler.
