- Museumsufer is a special district that sprawls along both banks of the Main River, where you can visit one of Frankfurt’s many cultural spots. It is in this area that you will find the famous Städel art gallery, Museum for Communication and German Film Museum.
- Located in the southern part of the town, Frankfurt City Forest is the largest urban forest in Germany, spanning 48 square kilometers. It is an ideal getaway if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city center.
- Palmengarten is a 19th-century botanical oasis located in the Westend-Süd district that is
also home to numerous exotic plant species.

- Since Frankfurt is one of the main commercial hubs in Europe, it’s advisable to book your stay outside of major trade fairs, as this is when accommodation prices in the city tend to skyrocket.
- If you want to try a local delicacy, visit one of the restaurants in the Sachsenhausen district and ask for “ebbelwoi” (Hesse-style apple wine).
