My partner and I worked with the local travel specialist to book a 10-day trip in Uganda, that included a gorilla trek and a visit to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We had the most amazing time! David and Joseph made everything extremely easy for us. We explained our preferences for the trip and they made everything come together very easily and exactly the way we wanted it. Actually they exceeded our expectations. David is a very talented and safe driver, even when the roads got muddy or really precarious, we always felt completely safe with him. David also is extremely knowledgeable and easy to get along with, he was regularly checking in with us about our comfort level and interests. I would highly recommend this travel expert and would definitely work with them again in the future.
Our honeymoon also took us to Queen Elizabeth NP, Kibale NP and finally Bwindi NP in southwestern Uganda. Boaz our guide for the trip from Entebbe was an amazing, sharing his extensive knowledge of flora and fauna. We spent a lot of time in the safari vehicle and I am happy that it was comfortable for the bumpy off-roads. Gorillas was really special! When I looked straight in their eyes I could not help but admit that we share common DNA. Accommodation spots were well appointed and perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend the local travel specialist
The local travel specialist came highly recommended from my brothers who used their services in 2019. We contacted him and from his timely and detailed response we knew that we were in the hands of a professional. We agreed to the 4 days safari and gorillas tracking in Uganda where permit and lodges costs were substantially lower. Our guide William was knowledgeable and very accommodating. His expertise and friendly personality made our experience enjoyable. We made the right choice in selecting an experienced company with great vehicles and an experienced guide
ncredible and memorable come to mind recalling my 4 days safari in Uganda with friends. Perfectly organized by Nicholas and guided by Chris to the deep untouched Ugandan bush land, marshes, swamps, rivers and forests. So many different animals on land (lions, buffalo, elephant, chimps and gorillas) water (hippos, water birds, crocodiles and not so successful in baiting fish). Fresh comfortable lodges serving nice food and packed lunch boxes. Chris is a wonderful guide and this trip would not have been so memorable without him
Best experience of travel I have ever had. Gorillas just WOW. Chimps were amazing and we saw our first one in 5 minutes. Queen Elisabeth park gave us not 1 but 2 sets of tree climbing lions!! And we spotted a Leopard. Lots of other fabulous game that was not so expected from Uganda. Friendly people everywhere.
This is a really great and varied trip. In addition to the chimps and gorillas, the safari drives in Queen Elizabeth NP and Lake Mburo also gave some super game viewings, including lions, zebra, giraffe, hippo and various types of antelope, although not the proliferation of game as the like of the Masai Mara. The boat trips are both interesting and restful, and we had the luck to see the famous shoebill stork at Mabamba Swamp. Overall this is a fantastic trip for anyone who enjoys wildlife.
