Dambulla Tours in Spring

I have recently returned from the most incredible walking trip in Sri Lanka. The walks were very diverse, up mountains, through rainforests and around serene lakes. We also explored the cities, beaches and National Parks (where we were lucky enough to see a Leopard!). Our leader, Ruwan, was first class - he was very organised, friendly, told us interesting stories about the culture and history and took us to meet lots of local families, who were all lovely. I couldn't speak of this trip more highly.

We had a great time. This local travel specialist was most helpful when "tweaking" our trip to get the most from it. Our guide (Chami) was terrific and really helped make things perfect.

Hard to believe that the tour lasted only two weeks considering the amount of activities we did. So many unique experiences to Sri Lanka and our tour group ranging from: elephant safari, whale watching, leopard sightings, temple visits, hiking to a mountain top palace, river cruise, swimming in a waterfall, train ride, the list goes on and on! Buddhika, our excellent guide was personable, funny, considerate, honest everything you could want in a guide. His expertise was utilized in flexibility and organized our daily schedules based on how we felt, cost vs worthwhile experience, his recommendations and our interests so no day ever felt to overwhelming or underwhelming. It was incredible getting to see all the different cultures and environs within the isle of Sri Lanka. One that I would highly recommend to everyone!

This tour was completely amazing. We loved every single minute. We managed to see everything that we wanted to see in 2 weeks and the company was brilliant at helping us to fine tune our tour to exactly what we wanted. Our guide, Buddhika, was perfect! He was so knowledgeable, a safe driver, excellent English, kind, and was also patient and flexible, which was brilliant as we were travelling with our 2 children, aged 10 and 5 (who absolutely loved him). We hope to be lucky enough to visit Sri lanka again in the future and will definitely book again with this company.

We had a wonderful time with Buddhika in Sri Lanka! He is #1! Each day was jam-packed with adventurous activities and fun sightseeing. My favorite was our safari into the forrest to see baby elephants!

From crystal blue beaches to misty tea mountains, Sri Lanka was a complete joy to travel through. This local travel operator took our group of 10 for an absolute joy ride throughout the beautiful country. Our tour guide, Buddhika, provided a tour that featured amazing adventure (hikes/safaris/waterfalls, train rides) and world-class comfort (Ayurvedic massages, AC buses, deluxe hotels & empty beaches). I came to Sri Lanka with little-to-no knowledge of the country, but left with a deep appreciation for the culture and people. Wherever we went, we were met by the sweetest people (and delicious welcome drinks, yum!). Many times I felt I'd been dropped into an Indiana Jones movie or Disney Park ride, only to pinch myself and realize that this was the real deal! Buddhika became a fast friend and we are so honored to have had the opportunity to have this company as our guides.
