Chiang Rai Tours in Winter

Our first time traveling with the tour operator far exceeded our expectations!! We chose to plan a two week vacation in Thailand through the cities of Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Chiang Mai, and Phuket. Max, our travel consultant, did an excellent job of communicating with us from the beginning of the planning process through the end of our journey back home. We were able to customize our itinerary to our liking, including dates, activities, accommodations, flights between cities and more - all of which were booked and taken care of by Max. From the moment we arrived in Bangkok, we were welcomed and well accommodated by our guide and driver. Our guide did an absolutely amazing job of educating us about the local history and customs, inviting us to participate in additional activities to enrich our experience, and our driver did great ensuring we were safe (and well hydrated) throughout our adventures. If we ever wanted to explore on our own or add more activities, each and everyone of our guides helped us plan everything out. We couldn’t be more happier with how well our trip went, and we’ll be sure to recommend the tour to our friends and family for any future trips. Thanks to the tour operator, our first time in Thailand was an amazing experience.

My brother and I arranged a 13 day tour of Thailand including Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket over the Christmas and New Year's period (2022-2023). Our agent handled everything with great professionalism and accuracy. We had wonderful tour guide when needed, and days to ourselves to explore when needed. When we ran into difficulties, our agent was quick to respond and flexible and solved our problem almost instantly. I highly recommend the tour operator for your travel arrangements.

This trip pushed me to the limits of my fitness in the best way. The guide and drivers were kind, friendly and supportive. I saw parts of the country I never could have experienced from a car. I had a wonderful time, and cannot say enough about the support and guidance received from Sert, Pong and Rong.

What impressed me most about this tour was how much value we got for the price. We didn’t expect five-star treatment, but everything was thoughtfully planned and comfortably executed. The hotels were clean, the beds were comfortable and the locations were always close to markets, restaurants, or key attractions. The itinerary offered a great mix. Bangkok gave us a taste of the city...temples, markets, and the bustle you'd expect. Then we moved north, and things felt more relaxed. The temples in Chiang Mai were beautiful without being overrun with tourists. It was nice to see a slower, more cultural side of Thailand up there. Phuket at the end gave us time to unwind. The beaches were stunning, and there were plenty of options..quiet spots to relax, or lively areas if you wanted nightlife or shopping. We spent a full day just lounging near the water and another exploring the old town. This tour gave us variety, structure, and enough free time to feel like we had a vacation, not just a checklist. If you’re curious about Thailand and want a well-rounded, budget-friendly experience, this is a solid choice.

A great way to see the pleasant countryside of northern Thailand. All in all, we had a great experience. We were especially happy with the Giude Ton's command of the English language.
