In April, my daughter and I took a 4 day/3night private tour out of Trabzon with Zeynep as our guide and Emir as our driver. It was a WONDERFUL way to visit the Black Sea region. Emir was a skilled and patient driver driving through mountainous areas where we would not be comfortable driving ourselves. We visited the Sumela Monastery, Aya Sophia (Trabzon), Atatürk Mansion, Uzungöl and Ayder. We stayed at a different place each night which allowed us to see more in each area. We were treated to a visit to a tea garden where we took part in harvesting tea leaves and were welcomed into the home of Alican's brother. We felt like we were traveling with and visiting family. Zeynep was the perfect guide and we left Trabzon with treasured memories and friendship.

The Tour led from Trabzon on the Firtina Valley, Ayder and Artvin to avat. This region is scenically very impressive. The chosen accommodations were very good.
