Truffle hunting Sitting in our down time on the Goudi Avenue in Barcelona Fragonard Purfumeur in Grasse My suggestions for improvement: I would like to have had less included meals. Some were delicious but some were just okay. My husband and would have preferred to select what we wanted to eat more times during the tour. We wanted more down time and a slower pace. In looking back, much of my favorite moments were when we stopped touring for even just a few minutes to enjoy a cup of delicious hot chocolate or green tea, in a quiet place, but even that was rushed and no time to linger or even finish our delicious drink. We had to leave to stay on schedule. That exact thing occurred twice on the tour and we were disappointment both times.

If you are looking for free time to shop this isn’t the trip for you. Our days were busy and well timed out. The Local guides were fantastic and our Trafalgar Tour Guide and bus driver were excellent. No wasted time on this trip. We hit all the highlights as described in the itinerary.

Amazing experience, Our trip lead, Ryan did an awesome job teaching and showing us these incredible destinations. Also our driver got us from point A to point B so safely.

The tour was AWESOME! Our tour guide, Javier was totally AWESOME! It went by too fast. We didn't have enough time in the wonderful places, but it was GREAT!

For a person of faith these are inspiring shrines and gorgious basilicas. One should see ones in life time. Tour manager was excellent. The bus driver was great. I felt that bus travel for two days was a bit tiresome and time consuming. The hotels were great except at Lourdes. But it was close to the shrine, to have personally access to spend time. And so I sacrifice a bit of luxury when it comes to hotel at lourdes. On the whole it was excellent. I recommend any day.

An interesting experience for a first time solo travel, I can say for certainty that I have created some lifelong memories, and that even though there were ups and downs, I would 100% do another Contiki. The people are what make Contiki unforgettable, even more-so than the places. I would recommend picking Contiki for places which you don’t care too much to see everything, as you only get a glimpse of big cities.
