An amazing experience

This was an incredible trip from start to finish, with some unforgettable memories. Our tour leader was Mohammed - a humble and lovely guide that was passionate about his country, people, and culture - this just enhanced the experience- and nothing was too much trouble. Our driver Ahmed (may have the incorrect spelling) was a careful and considerate driver, that went above and beyond too in helping the group. And Morocco - what an amazing country - steeped in history and wonder. Exodus certainly take you off the beaten track to some incredible and different experiences! Thank you so much!

Magic In Action — A Soul-Stirring Journey Through Morocco

I’ve traveled far and wide, Morocco being my 58th country. But this trip wasn’t just travel - it was transformation, standing apart as one of the most enriching, moving, and unforgettable adventures of my life. From the sweeping dunes of the Sahara to the winding alleys of the ancient Medina and the energy of Marrakesh, the poetic beauty of the Atlas Mountains, and the Kasbahs, villages, markets, homes — each day was filled with wonder, beauty, and genuine connection—with the land, its people, and with myself. As someone who prefers traveling spontaneously and on my own, rather than in coordinated groups, two friends and I decided to try it this time, and joined strangers on this organized trip. A huge part of what elevated this journey well beyond expectations was our extraordinary guide, Mohamed. His deep knowledge, thoughtful storytelling, and sincere care brought the history, culture, nature, and spirit of Morocco to life in unforgettable ways. He didn’t just show us Morocco—he shared it with us. With his passion, and genuine kindness, he didn't just lead us—he welcomed us into his culture with warmth and generosity. From shared laughters to heartfelt stories, he made Morocco come alive in ways no brochure or solo travel ever could. The experience was poetry for all senses. Equally important was our driver, Abdoul, whose calm, confident presence made every journey feel completely safe, no matter how winding the road or how chaos-like the road. His skill behind the wheel allowed us to trust, relax, and truly take in the shifting landscapes. The itinerary struck a perfect balance between adventure and rest, busy and quiet, and the thoughtfully selected accommodations—including the magical desert camp and the rustic charm gite —created an atmosphere of authenticity and comfort. And the food! Every meal was a sensory delight, and I found myself not just tasting Moroccan food and tea but truly savoring it as a cultural expression. Oh, and I will never forget surrendering to the traditional —non-touristy — hammam with the local ladies in Thigza at 6400ft altitude. I felt cleansed not just on my skin, but deep scrubbed from years of inner hurts. And the most beautiful part of this trip? The unexpected connections—with locals and with moments of quiet awe. This was more than a vacation. It was a passage into wonder. I have returned transformed and with a yearning to return. I'm deeply grateful to Mohamed and Abdoul, and to all the people along the way, who welcomed us, shared their homes, shared their knowledge, and the love of their country, for taking us far beyond the surface. If you’re looking not just to see Morocco, but to feel it, live it, and carry it home in your soul, I can’t recommend this journey with Exodus highly enough.

Incredible!

Absolutely incredible 3-day journey from Marrakech to Fes! Our guide and driver, Hakim, was the absolute BEST—so knowledgeable, friendly, and made every moment special. From exploring the Atlas Mountains and ancient kasbahs to the unforgettable night under the stars in the Sahara, every detail was perfect. Hakim, made sure we were comfortable and shared fascinating stories about the places we visited. Watching the sunrise in the Merzouga dunes and visiting beautiful Berber villages along the way were highlights. Highly recommend this tour and especially Khalil for an authentic Moroccan adventure!

Marrakech to Fez: Trip of a lifetime

I recently had the incredible opportunity to join the 3-Day Desert Tour from Marrakech to Fez, and I can honestly say it was one of the most unforgettable travel experiences I've ever had. From the very beginning, the trip took me on a stunning journey through Morocco's diverse landscapes. We traversed the majestic Atlas Mountains, observed the playful Barbary apes in the cedar forests, and visited the UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, a true gem with its ancient kasbahs that once served as the backdrop for Hollywood films like Gladiator and series like Game of Thrones. Hakim, our driver, was fantastic—his expert knowledge of the area, combined with his smooth driving, made the long hours in the van enjoyable and relaxing. The highlight of the tour, without a doubt, was the time spent in the Sahara Desert. After an adventurous camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset, I arrived at a luxury desert camp where we enjoyed traditional Berber music around the campfire under the starry desert sky. The feeling of being so far from everything, surrounded by the vastness of the desert, was truly magical. Hakim made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip, and his friendly nature made the journey even more enjoyable. On the final day, we made our way to Fez, passing through charming Berber villages and the Middle Atlas Mountains. We even stopped to see the monkeys in the cedar forests. The trip was long but absolutely worth it, filled with breathtaking scenery, fascinating history, and a deep dive into the rich culture of Morocco. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the heart of Morocco, and I’m so grateful for Hakim’s guidance and expertise throughout the entire journey. It was the trip of a lifetime!

Comfortable accommodations, a very knowledgeable guide, and every moment was a perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. Desert adventure from Marrakech!

This tour from Marrakech to Merzouga was an unforgettable experience. The journey started with a scenic drive over the Atlas Mountains and the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, where the views were simply spectacular. Visiting the ancient Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou and spending the night in a cozy riad in the Dades Valley were highlights of the first day. Day two was even more exciting, with stops at the impressive Todra Gorge and the bustling market in Rissani before we reached the Erg Chebbi dunes. Riding camels at sunset felt surreal, and the luxury camp in the desert was beautifully set up. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and were treated to traditional Berber music around the campfire—a magical night under the stars. The final morning, we woke up early to witness a breathtaking desert sunrise, followed by a hearty breakfast before heading back to Marrakech. The return trip was comfortable, and the entire tour was well-paced, allowing us to fully appreciate each location without feeling rushed.
