Overall, this was a truly eye-opening experience. Getting the chance to meet indigenous communities and see local projects up close gave us a much deeper understanding of Mexico than we could have had as travellers. The tour was a beautiful pilgrimage to different monasteries, very high intensity, we enjoyed Armenian, music, culture and food. Visit to see of Holy Etchmiadzin and Holy Badarak was exceptional. Lake Sevan, views of Majestic mouth Ararat will never be forgotten. Delicious dinners, hands on cooking classes in Georgia and Armenia, made it a great tour of both learning and connection. Most evenings concluded with traditional song or dance and the group seemed to love that. Visit to the vineyards and wine tasting in Georgia was also special. It was a wonderful opportunity to visit and see contrasts in the culture.

My experience was unforgettable and I made memories that I will cherish for a lifetime. To step away from my part of the world and immerse myself in the African bush, cooking dinner, sitting around the fire, camping, sharing stories, and observing the wildlife was recharging, healing, and most of all- transformative. I truly enjoyed my time in Africa and am already looking forward to when I can go back.
