Everything was fantastic. Saw so much of Tuscany and everyday was so enjoyable. Tour manager was incredible, bus driver was excellent and the food was delicious. Our hotel in Montecatini was so pleasant. Each village or city had a tour guide assigned and they were all so knowledgeable. This tour was well worth the money.

This was my first all land trip with Collette. I usually take river cruises. I was more than pleased with this trip. We were met at the airport and put in a limousine to go to our hotel. Our hotels were safe and excellent in every way. Our motor coach was spacious and very comfortable. The food was excellent. Our guide was nice, experienced, knowledgeable, accommodating, and full of great fun. She managed to bring a great cohesiveness to a bunch of total strangers and change the group members into great friends in one, fun-filled week. We saw interesting sights. We had time for shopping. And most importantly, we had time to meet Irish people. We watched a national rugby game, drank a beer, and sang many Beatles’ songs I thoroughly enjoyed the tours, dinner shows., and our castle stay. I will definitely return to the Republic of Ireland and many other Collette destinations for future travel.
The tour of Scotland was very informative due to the fact that we had an excellent tour manager. Before we would reach each destination she would tell us about the history, geography, cultural and any other pertinent information that could possibly interest us about our destination. One of the most memorable experiences was the border collie sheep dog demonstration. It was facinating to see how the dogs responded to the shepherd’s commands. To top it off he brought out a baby lamb and two border collie puppies for everyone to hold and pet.
We enjoyed all aspects of the tour. The destination was great and our tour manager very experienced. We especially enjoyed our tour manager partnering with local tour guides specialized for the venues we visited. The food was wonderful and accommodations did not lack anything.
I thoroughly enjoyed this entire tour from the beginning planning stages to the end of it. I thoroughly enjoyed the option of having transportation provided from my house to the airport at the beginning of the tour and the transportation provided from the airport back to my house after the tour.
In addition, it was nice to have my baggage handled from hotel to hotel and during our stay at each hotel. What a great experience to have that also included as part of the tour as well.
It seemed to me that all the people on the tour bus were friendly and easy to get along with. Those relationships that were formed during the midst of the tour made it all worthwhile. I believe that I could definitely travel with a group of people like that on another tour.
Lastly, our tour Manager Paula Richter, was absolutely fabulous and amazing. As far as I am concerned, she really set the tone, the standard and the bar high. I didn't know what to expect going into this trip but in hindsight I do now. Any other guided tour I take in the future will be held up to this standard that was set. I will be going into it with a clear expectation of what a tour should be like as a result of this tour.
Michael, by far, handled that motorcoach with much skill and God given talent. No time during that tour did I feel as if I were in danger or harm's way. Because of his ability to handle that bus the way he did I felt comfortable the whole time and was able to fully engage in enjoying the views that this Colors of New England tour was set up and designed to do. He was beyond kind, helpful, and respectful throughout the whole tour.
I am so thankful and grateful to experience this tour with Collette. Collette showed me what a guided tour should look and be like. Thank you Collette.

The tour provides a sampling of the shrines of Italy. I wanted to see the home of Padre Pio and was not disappointed. I was lucky enough to experience a spiritual light here My son died of cancer and followed Padre Pio and it was here I finally knew he was at peace and so was I . The stories of the Nazareth at the church in Lareto was amazing. It would have been nicer to spend more time there. This tour is not for people who cannot do stairs, some of the churches require walking up and down. Food in some of the places was was like banquet food and was terrible at the dinners. The pasta was great but some of the meats were horrible, some of the food was oversalted. Breakfast was the best.

Enjoyed the tour however, our experience at the airport in Paris and Nice was not positive. We were dropped off at the wrong terminal. We had more than enough time to make our flight back to LAX but due to the lack of work ethic of the Air France personnel, we just made the flight. In addition to the incompetence of the Air France personnel, we also experienced airport personnel that were very rude and not helpful.
