If you’re trying to see Panama in one week, you need to plan your itinerary well. Begin in the capital, Panama City, and embark on a city tour. Check out the UNESCO-listed Colonial Quarter, which has Spanish-era ruins, historic architecture, and museums like the Museum of Old Panama and the Panama Canal Museum. Stop off at Miraflores Locks to see boats pass through the iconic Panama Canal before heading to the mountain town of Boquete. Arrive and hit the trails through the lush greenery to waterfalls and through the magical cloud forest. Head to the Pipeline Trail and try to spot sloths and monkeys.
