14-Day East Africa Honeymoon Safari

On landing in JKIA Airport, you will be met by Amazing Memories Safaris and Tours Representative who will give you a briefing concerning your safari. Later you will be transferred to Eka Hotel Nairobi for check in and overnight. This will ensure you relax as you prepare to start you safari tomorrow officially.

After breakfast, You will drive to Amboseli National Park. This is the best park to get close to free-ranging elephants, have spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro and get the best snapshot of sunset and sunrise.

About Amboseli National Park: The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The ecosystem mainly savannah grassland spread across the Kenya-Tanzania border. The park is famous for being the best place in Africa to get close to free-ranging elephants among other wildlife species. Other attractions of the park include opportunities to meet the Maasai people and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

You will arrive at Amboseli Kibo Safari Camp for lunch with Game drive en route. Have an afternoon game drive at 4pm and later drive to the campsite in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Option one; You may opt to have an early morning Game drive, Return for breakfast, Freshen up and later a Midmorning Game Drive, Have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure like swimming in the pool, More game drives in the evening in search of more animals, Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Option 2: Another alternative is to have early breakfast and proceed for a whole day game drive. Return to the camp around 2 Pm for Lunch. Spent the rest of afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Naivasha via Nairobi. You will arrive and have lunch at Lake Naivasha Crescent Camp. The package consist of either Hippo boat ride or Hell gate hicking.

Option 1: Take a hippo boat ride to go around the lake. The haunting call of a Fish Eagle high over the lake as it prepares to grab fish from the water brings a perfect getaway also its a perfect chance to view Hippos.

Option 2: hiking at Hells gate / Walking safari at Hells gate

Other optional activities include cycling.

After breakfast, you will depart for Maasai Mara one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. This is the park where you will have opportunity to see big 5 and wildebeest Migration.

Maasai Mara is situated in south-west Kenya and is one of Africa’s Greatest Wildlife Reserves. Together with the Serengeti National Park in Tanzania it forms Africa’s most diverse, incredible and most spectacular eco-systems and possibly the world’s top safari big game viewing eco-system. It is globally famous for its exceptional population of lions, leopards and cheetahs, and the annual migration of Thomson's gazelle and wildebeest to and from the Serengeti every year from July to October, known as the Great Wildebeest Migration.

Arrive in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. After lunch you will have Evening game drives and later return for dinner in Lodge.

Morning breakfast and exit the camp with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the Mara National Reserve in search of the Big 5.

You will later return in the evening for dinner and overnight in Mara Serena Lodge.

Mara Sopa lodge is located high on the slopes of the Oloolaimutia Hills, Masai Mara Sopa Lodge was one of the first safari lodges to be built in the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, a reason why its gardens and trees are so lush and mature. All the buildings follow the design of traditional African round houses with conical roofs, and these stretch along the line of the hills with the impressively large public area buildings and the swimming pool at their centre.

You can ALSO choose a morning Balloon ride (Optional) in the early morning where you will be picked up from your lodge and transferred you to the balloon launch site. Here you will meet your pilot, receive a briefing and watch the inflation of your balloon. The actual ride starts at 6am.

The pilot controls the altitude of your balloon: Sometimes flying at treetop height, sometimes lower, offering a unique perspective and great photographic opportunities of the wildlife that is below.

After breakfast you will then depart with packed lunch to Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. After Visa formalities at the Isebania border, you shall proceed to Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park is Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing

You will arrive in late afternoon at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp with game drives enroute. Freshener-up and have dinner at the Camp.

After breakfast at the camp, you shall depart with packed lunch for a whole day game drive at the park for a chance to see the BIG 5, Migrations and even many more animals.

You will later return for dinner and overnight in the evening Ikoma safari Tented Camp.

About Serengeti KatiKati; A mobile tented camp located in Central Serengeti, strategically located to cover the vast Serengeti Plains. The camp offers comfortable accommodation and a unique opportunity to enjoy a real safari camp experience. The camp is only a two hour scenic drive from Olduvai Gorge Museum and Grumeti River.

A cosy mess tent islocated in the centre of the camp where meals are served. The campfire is ready every evening for appetizers and snacks before dinner.

Morning breakfast and then drive to Ngorongoro Conservancy. You will arrive in time for lunch with game drive enroute at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

You will then leave the camp for a half day Crater Tour After lunch.

About the Crater: The Ngorongoro Conservation Area as a whole has much to offer but the jewel in its crown is, without a doubt, the eponymous crater - an area of 265 sq km, which is 610 meters deep and 19 km across. The rim of the crater is an astounding 2286 meters above sea level. The floor contains a small soda lake, called Lake Magadi and it is estimated that 30000 animals are living in the crater, making it the most intensive safari game viewing area on earth. It was therefore very fittingly declared a World Heritage Site in 1978. A visit to Tanzania is simply incomplete without a safari visit to the park.

Later you will drive back for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to JRO Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. Arrive in Zanzibar and be transferred to the Next Paradise Boutique Resort for your romantic beach stay booked on Half board.

Optional Activities in Zanzibar:

Stone town tour; Stone Town is effectively the capital of Zanzibar Island, and, unlike most African capital cities, is a place that definitely does repay a visit. Most of the houses are more than 150 years old and were constructed from the island's coral stone by Arab and Indian merchants in the 19th century.

Dolphin Watching; Situated on the southern point of the island is Kizimkazi fishing village, once the formost settlement on the East Coast of Africa, now best known for being home to several schools of Bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which can often be sighted following a short boat trip from the village.

If you are lucky, you may be able to swim quite close to the dolphins, which can be a very rewarding experience. The trip is best taken in the afternoon to avoid the crowds of tourists in the morning, which in big numbers can seriously disturb the dolphins. Other species that can be viewed include stingrays and turtles.

More Optional Activities:

Zanzibar Prison Island; Gets its name from the prison built by the British in 1890, although never used as such, and the island is now home to the prison ruins, a hotel and a tortoise sanctuary.

Spice Tour; In days past, Zanzibar was known as the ‘Spice Island’, exporting these across the world. You can walk through the spice farm with your guide, touching, smelling and tasting different spices and tropical fruits, learning about their properties, origins and use as medicines and in food and drink.

Safari blue; Since 1996, their aim has always been to provide customers with a truly memorable experience using the best Zanzibar has to offer. They are the original fully licensed and registered Safari Blue operator. Glide through the warm Indian Ocean and gaze at the abundant and diverse marine life through translucent waters. They will snorkel over two different reefs in the morning.

After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Nairobi where you will connect with your flight back home.
