Suprisingly, Spain was just as awe inspiring as Italy. Portugal also had beautiful sites and the people were so friendly. We were pleasantly surprised by cities, such as Toledo, Obidos, and Segovia, and small beach cities in Portugal that we hadn’t heard of. Salamanca, Madrid, Sevilla, and especially Valencia were unimaginably beautiful. Our tour Director, Becka, was incredible. She answered everyone’s questions knowledgeably and cheerfully and made the trip super special, especially remembering our birthdays. Our driver João was also very professional and was an excellent driver.

This is an amazing trip which I would highly recommend. The stops in both Spain and Portugal are full of history and beautiful architecture. Our travel director Rebecca was friendly, well organized, professional, and on top of any issues that required handling . The selection of hotels was a nice balance between modern and old charm. Our coach was very comfortable and spacious. My only comment is that I wished we had a couple of relaxed start days. The schedule was very full, long days with late European dinners. Truly enjoyable experience.

It was very well coordinated and hit all the highlights. We were treated royally staying in the best hotels. It was educational and our tour direct, Sabrina, made our learning experience fun. We truly got to do the best of Spain and Portugal.

We had an amazing Tour Director, Sonia Santos, which made the trip more enjoyable. The food was good, accommodation good and loved the varied optional tours. If you want to see southern Spain I would recommend this tour.

It would have been better to have the hotel in La Valla. We were in a very small town with very limited and expensive restaurants around. The surrounding were beautiful but being in a bigger town would have been wonderful in the evenings. The hikes were hard, but manageable. The scenery was stunning. Altogether it was a pleasant and beautiful week in the mountains that I would recommend to every nature lover.

This itinerary was excellent. Took my granddaughter who started taking classes at the Chicago Art Institute right after our trip. She loved the beautiful architecture of Spain and the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains.she loved being immersed in the history. She spent her 18th birthday in Madrid at an awesome venue with beautiful Spanish Music that would equal the quality of a New York opera. We had a large group from many different places and it was a wonderful atmosphere. Our guide Scott was amazing… I would give him a 10 star rating easily. He made sure all went perfectly.
