Our representative will pick you up at your hotel at 8 am for an amazing full day tour of the Angkor Temple. Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world and its architectural beauty is sure to blow your mind. Check out some of the most intricate stone carvings of celestial dancers, deities and other fanciful designs sculpted into the walls.
The first stop is at Angkor Thom, one of the most visually stunning temples at the complex. Then, we continue on a small circuit trip to the South Gate of the Angkor Thom – the best preserved gate in the area, known for portraying a variety of expressions.
Next, we head to the Terrace of the Leper King and Elephant Terrace, a 350m-long terrace that used to be an enormous viewing stand for public ceremonies and was used as a base for a humongous audience hall of the king. The itinerary then takes us to the ruined Baphuon, Royal Enclosure and Phimeanakas before we head to the mysterious Bayon Temple.
Also a part of this Angkor Wat tour is Banteay Kdey. Also known as the Citadel of Monks, this is a Buddhist temple where you can see thousands of monks leading their lives, following Buddhist principles and traditions. In the midst of all that excitement, don't miss out on Ta Prohm temple, a beautiful temple built in the late 12th century in a Bayon-style that has been left relatively undisturbed over time, unlike most Angkorian ruins.
Finally, enjoy the most beautiful sunset views you'll ever see, checking out rural scenes from the terraces of an ancient Angkorian temple, before heading back your hotel.
Best holiday ever... and the next G Adventures trip is already booked!

Did this trip with my 20 year old son. Great father son bonding time experience. Would go back and do it again happily. You need to be pretty fit to get through the whole event. Definitely take factor 50 sun cream, gloves to keep your hands from burning, long sleeved tops and loose trousers to cycle in. It was 35 to 37 degrees when we went in early February. Guides were amazing, off road bicycles were great. The last two days in Cambodia were pretty arduous but the day cycling around Angkor Wat was an all time highlight of my life.

This tour of Vietnam covers much of what is a diverse and interesting about the north of the country. Starting in Hanaoi, the capital, we have included Sapa for its trekking and minority villages, Ninh Binh region for its limestone peaks which rival those of Halong Bay and of course time exploring spectacular Halong Bay itself.
Your itinerary begins with a city tour of Hanoi before taking the overnight train to Lao Cai and the trekking area of Sapa. We will spend two days exploring the valleys and peaks of this beautiful region while getting to know the local people and their customs. We then return to Lao Cai for the overnight train back to Hanoi for an early breakfast at the hotel before having the rest of the day free to explore this city. After a night back in Hanoi we travel to Hoa Lu, famous for being the country's capital from 968 and 1009 AD. This area is one of stunning natural beauty which you will see best during your boat ride along the Boi River. Next we travel to stunning Halong Bay and spend 2 days cruising on a traditional junk around the limestone outcrops as well as sea kayaking and swimming - this is bound to be one of your tour highlights. Your tour ends back in Hanoi.
This tour combines well with a further exploration of southern Vietnam, a visit to a relaxing beach destination, or an extension into Cambodia to visit Angkor Watt and Tonle Sap.
This is a sample private tour itinerary and we can customise the daily itinerary, duration and accommodation levels and styles as much or as little as you wish.

We had a fantastic time! All the hotels were excellent, the tours were well-organized, and the guides were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I was traveling with my daughter, and as we're not very experienced travelers, it meant a lot that we always felt safe, supported, and well taken care of throughout the trip.

Experience the Cambodian countryside, Kampot and Kep, two of Cambodia’s hidden gems, in just one day!
The tour starts with a pick-up from Sihanoukville, and then a two-hour drive to Kampot by car. Explore Kampot town and catch sight of the rustic French colonial buildings. Discover the history and architecture as we explore the town’s streets.
Immerse yourself in authentic Cambodian culture with visits to a fishing village, traditional salt field, pepper farm and Phnom Chhngok Cave Temple, a brick temple nestled inside the limestone cave dedicated to Shiva.
Then, head to the coastal town of Kep, 25km from Kampot and best known for its seafood, especially crab. Kep is also a French colonial town showing remnants of old French architecture. Now is the best time to see Kep town as the former sea and mountainside villas which were abandoned during war time are now slowly deteriorating. Be thrilled by the bustling activities at the crab market then relax at the tropical beach along Kep’s seashore. Enjoy the laidback and quiet beach environment along Kep’s coastline. You may wish to cool off at its clear waters or simply take in the fresh air and wonderful seascape while you watch locals hanging out.
The tour ends with a drop-off in Sihanoukville.
