The 2 night stays made the trip more relaxing. The tour director was great (Chris Henderson). The excursions covered varied sites which rounded out the stay in each country The best included dinners were the excellent as were the buffet breakfast. Lastly our driver was fantastic guiding the coach through extremely tight streets and locations
I was very pleased most of the time concerning what Insight choose to show us on the tour. My only complaint was the few times we were shown something for an hour and then "given time to visit shops" for two hours. Yes, I am not a shopper. I do not visit shops for entertainment and I realize other people do this. My complaint was that we were not given the opportunity to return to the hotel instead of having to kill time for two hours waiting to be taken home.
Our fantastic guide, Vanessa reminded us several times that this was a sightseeing vacation not a regular vacation - prepare to see and learn a lot. I would say the itinerary was very good with the exception of Munich. It could have used a longer walking tour component. Other than that it was a great tour
This is a fabulous itinerary! We arrived aday early to explore more of Berlin. The itinerary is jam packed full of history, great food and amazing local specialists! We are very glad we took this the trip, our 6th with Trafalgar! Gasper was a great TD!
I Think this was a great trip and having 2 nights at each major location was great. Maybe have one of the locations either Vienna or Budapest to be 3 nights would have been perfect as we were on the go most of the time and little rest time..
Our first Trafalgar tour and it went well. It was an early start every day, which may be too much for some. It was a learning trip not necessarily a relaxing one.
